Years ago, when I was a teenager, I encountered the full version of this opera on UA-cam and it was the first opera I listened to in my life. I was mesmerized by the performance of Agnes Baltsa. Now I cannot find this video anywhere. Can someone tell me where to get it or buy it Full HD, please? Thank you so much for this clip. Opera is the best art where the emotions are expressed!
This performance was available on DVD from Deutsche Grammophon some years ago; and I purchased it. It was not HD but in acceptable quality. Dont know if you can still find it. However, it IS available to stream from Met Opera on Demand. As far as I can make out, they have improved the quality. But you will need to subscribe; and I highly recommend that to anyone who is a serious lover of opera. The service offers a treasure-trove of audio and video recordings, at a very reasonable price!
She reminds me of Marienela Nuñez, but as an Opera singer. The performance is beautiful and flirtatious. Perfect.❤
