I wonder how they wear before you have to add Heat
Beautifully! You really do not need to add heat unless you choose to change the look. As they age they will loose their umph and you can add heat to get the curl back. But other than that, it really is optional.

Color it's not the most flattering I agree I think you would look better in a darker color
