      @5oundOfVictory 9 років тому

      Hatsune Miku The thing is, there's no way there couldn't be a log-out button, as it would be the main priority to make sure that it works. There would be many tests and glitch-checking for that to happen. And even if someone did remove it, everyone would be force-disconnected by the admins until the problem was fixed. Even though hacking that kind of software would not be worth anything at all, people will still try, and extreme measured would be taken so it doesn't happen

      @VirtualDreamers  10 років тому +1

      Kendrick Latimore I'm actually trying to keep builds as minimalist as possible. I'm a huge fan of the NerveGear helmet form factor, though I'm also starting to investigate things like isolation pods to deal with the modern culture's almost excessive "need" to be connected to the real world at all times. For now, the only hardware I really want to develop for is either EEG based or EMG based, with perhaps a keyboard or gamepad in, but it's really going to depend on what I see from the performance of the Emotiv Insight. On the custom end, I'm planning on doing a write up on my concept on "Volume Haptics" and it's potential integration into a helmet or pod.

      +Virtual Dreamers Hi, I know this is really old but would it be possible to manipulate our sense of time using something like the Nerve Gear? Ex: 1 day in the real world = 1 hour or less?And if so, don't you think this would be extremely pratical for a single player or a small multiplayer experience? I don't know if so is possible or if in any way disrupts with our body in a negative way but if it doesn't I'd like you to get in dept with this kind of idea.

    • @VirtualDreamers
      @VirtualDreamers  9 років тому +2

      Álvaro Lopes Wouldn't know honestly. Time dilation is a matter of either really advanced space time or altering the rate or human perception. I think that time passage can definitely be accelerated (i.e. spend a day in VR, but 10 IRL days passed), but I think doing the inverse would be much harder. Our brains are working hard enough as it is and the only thing that does something to the effect making us perceive time faster, adrenaline, barely makes much of a speed boost so it's unlikely we'll be able to do such a thing without some post singularity tech being at work. Kind of wish we could though. I don't have enough hours in the day for all the stuff I want to do so being able to get more by using VR would be a real big help.

      +Moroha playz One of VR's benefits is that it removes most of the age factors that limit us IRL. As long as your brain works, you'll be able to accomplish most physical feats any younger players will achieve. The only possible limitations would be the brain itself as older gamers tend to find their reflexes a bit lacking as is compared to younger gamers in the pro gaming scene. Another way to look at it would be that you'll be somewhat closer to retirement age when you'll basically get to be in VR 24/7 if you so please.

    I dont really like the oculust rift. Not because its bad, but rather because i dont want to hear about any vr info unless its a real nerve gear because its really the best you can get when it comes to vr. I do have 1 question though. Do you think in anyway it would be possible (if they made a nerve gear) to when your in the virtual world. ALSO workout you physical body? I know that you can feel pain as seen in alfheim season 1 and if it goes below level 3 its starts to effect your physical body. But pain is only one chemical it would be cool if you could REALLY ware yourself out yourself and push yourself in the game but also have it workout your body. What better way to workout than to slay monsters eh. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

    • @VirtualDreamers
      @VirtualDreamers  10 років тому +6

      I understand the standpoint you have on the Rift, though I would advise that you try one out if you ever have the opportunity just to get an idea of what the hubbubs about. Waiting around for the best VR can be could leave you waiting a good few more decades for VR while everyone else has fun in the meanwhile, though that just my stance on things.
      Anyhow, to answer your question, having the real body worked out in a system reminiscent to the NerveGear wouldn't really work unless you simulated the effects via an indirect method. The style of VR system the NerveGear is are called Brain Computer Interfaces and it is one of the highest order. The lack of movement can't really be negotiated in such a system since you'd otherwise risk hurting yourself or damaging the system by moving around without being able to see the real world.
      Being that we can't really make our body's exercise themselves without actually doing exercise just yet (astronauts would LOVE to be able to do this to avoid the muscle deterioration), it's unlikely that it would happen without having to actually just do the exercise or use VR's sister medium, Augmented Reality as a compromise. It could be possible that such a thing could happen with nanobots, but they're kind of the sci-fi wonder tech that is capable of basically doing anything so it's kind of like waiting for all of life's problems to be solved before jumping into the game.
      At this moment in time, it's a bit ironic that our primitive VR systems are probably going to be the ones that do the stated VR immersion and real work out since we don't have a BCI for controls yet. As a result, we're using translationary control inputs like motion tracking (kinects) and VR suits (prioVR) to try get VR controls, though it brings in the limitation of our actual physical capabilities.
      I don't like to think of any question as stupid. Your question can be attributed to one of the genuine concerns people can have for VR: Physical debilitation. If you spent a few weeks without moving an inch in VR, you could easily weaken yourself to the point of disability. I often worry that some of the illusions I want to use to generate VR could act as nocebos and cause genuine harm to the users experiencing the tech. I personally think Augmented Reality is much better suited to the task of working out since you're interacting with the real world, but with some enhancements to make it more engaging. In such a case you could work out while fighting virtual monsters but with the addition of being aware of your place in your environment to help prevent damage. VR is a bit more reminiscent to games where the goal is to let you do more than your able to as is compared to AR which is more about changing reality to better suit your interests.
      Hope this helps. Try looking into AR a bit, I think it may be right up your alley for this. :)

  • @djprogramer973
    @djprogramer973 10 років тому

    That was extremely well done. And to think that I was the only one with the idea to make a video like this.
    I've been looking at various physics engines and animation. Even if we're not able to make Nerv Gear, we should at least start working on creating better graphics as well as processing power for the current VR interfaces that we have today.
    I've also been studying how the body processes inputs and I've never realized how different pain can be in various parts of the body. I could pinch my palm and it felt like it was almost braking skin but if I pinched my arm then it doesn't hurt as much.

    Studying neurology, I know that our brains emit radio frequencies of varying frequencies depending on our mood. Most of these are in the ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) band. Although the power of these radio frequencies are way too low to be measured, ELF transcievers exist and could be used to recieve signals from the brain wirelessly.

    We could go through the electro stimulus form for vr full dive, we already have ways of detecting and canceling nerve communication. It is simple in concept and we also have the technology for it, just paralyze the body from the head down and use the signals to interperate movement for the game, and then just use oculus tech for everything else. To calibrate it to your body it would be the same thing for sao. I also think there has been speculation towards microwave or elctromagnetic waves simulating the optic nerve, this is just off the top of my head, sorry if it is a bit rough.

  • @BuwnyCinnamon
    @BuwnyCinnamon 10 років тому

    Do you think the Spinal Cord could be used to record the body's movements?

    • @VirtualDreamers
      @VirtualDreamers  10 років тому +1

      It probably could. I'm honestly surprised there aren't more technologies trying to take advantage of the spinal cord as is compared to something like EEG or EMGs. EEG has the disadvantage of trying to detect very small, very bundled data in the brain while EMG has to deal with requiring a large system of sensors to cover a large area of our muscles all throughout the body. By comparison, going over the spinal cord should have the benefit of only needing to cover one area that EEG has while having a more easily visible region to cover like EMG. Even with all those benefits, I've yet to find any technology that tries to harness it. This tells me that either the medical community is really blind to the potential before them, or something is getting in the way. The only things I can think of that are problematic is the activity of all the organs within the body near the spinal cord like the heart, lungs, stomach, etc that would create a lot of data noise. The heart in particular being pretty bad since it's EKG data would probably dominate the readings, but I can't quite tell why can't filter that data out and target the more desireable action potential data. Perhaps my understanding of Electrogram technology is too loose and I'm missing a crucial detail, but I'm honestly surprised we aren't taking a better look at this region.

    • @BuwnyCinnamon
      @BuwnyCinnamon 10 років тому

      Really nice to know it is actually posible to take advantage of the Spinal Cord. Neither I have ever heard about anybody working on this method, it could be that people are not comfortable using this technology? I can't tell... Guess I'll have to look for it in the web :3

    I also have of theory on how vr could work. Every time I see these kinds of vids i keep wondering that maybe people think to much about stuff that seems complex when really it could actually be pretty simple to do. I keep thinking that maybe if we had the technology and let's face it we probably do. I have an idea that you can connect vr to your dreams. You know, like how right when we close our eyes and go to sleep we go into a whole other world which is our dream world. Granted people can't really control what happens in their dreams unless they somehow do something in their dream that enables them to lucid dream, which means you can make anything happen in your dream and it feels like your actually there. I feel like if we use our dreams or something like sleep maybe we can use the technology that we have or will have in the future or today and use dreams, lucid dreaming and sleep to our advantage maybe we can achieve the full dive vr that we want. Just like in Sao but maybe with different technology that should also be safe for the user of course. There is still is the safety of the user to think about. But I feel like when we have that kind of tech and implement the idea of dreams and sleep maybe we could achieve it. Or I'm just saying nonsense because idk I had this idea but I didn't know how to word it so I just gave my best shot in my idea of sleeping and dreaming and using it for vr. Idk I think my idea sounds similar to how it is in Sao but idk. I'm still confused about this myself. All I know is maybe vr is possible today and we are just making it seem more complex than it really is. Maybe the answer is right pounder our noses and we don't even know. Idk it's just a hunch I have.

  • @ChiyuriYami
    @ChiyuriYami 10 років тому +2

    This is just my speculation but I think the nerve gear work in two phase. Current technology can already replicate the first phase. Artificial Sleep. By aritifically putting the body to sleep, it is possible to trap the mind within it's own dreams. When sleeping careless of how you move in the dream, your physical limps will not receive the movement input(well maybe just a little.. depend on people or how deep the sleep is) and external stimuly are partially blocked as well. The second phase I think the nerve gear does would probably be forcing it's own senses data into the dream, basically overwriting the dream with the VR world.

      It's an interesting theory, especially since it seems the NerveGear apparently places people into Comas, though we shouldn't have any consciousness available to even use software in such a state. The sleep process is an interesting notion, though it seems oddly inefficient if you ask me. Many people have brought up the idea of using dreams for VR, but that process would be very inefficient since we can control our dreams. I've lucid dreamed in the past and the degree of control available was incredible. I didn't really have to think about making the images appear so much as my will was simply actualized, so it implies that some subconscious process has a role in the situation, but I could make myself see things I wanted to, which kind of implies that any VR device that uses said platform would be in some level making us construct the virtual worlds ourselves (mind control). It could be the case, but I found it more likely that the device simply takes advantage of the mechanism the brain uses to make images and hijacks that instead of our conscious will. Directly taking over any part of our consciousness, sub or not is VERY dangerous territory and would make the release of a device on that level impossible by any standards. Then again, considering that the NerveGear's wattage limits weren't caught by the The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Telecommunications (Japanese FCC), I suppose it could have gotten past the fan, though the fact Sugou didn't have an easy access way into controlling peoples memories as he tried to, it probably means this wasn't their technique. In the end though, there are a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies in Reki Kawahara's narrative that are inevitable considering that he can't see the future and is only human, but I suppose we can admire that his work has spared so much meaningful discussion in VR :)
      Thank you for commenting and I hope you can gleam something of value from my reply.

      Virtual Dreamers Some people report that outside stimulus sometimes affect their dream. Through this is just a wild guess on my part but If the sensorial data is strong enough it could overwrite the dream the subcouncious(or in our case our counsciouness since we technically will be lucid) In other words, it could have nothing to do with our will and/or memories, hence remaining in a relatively safe area.. as long as they can prove the hardware doesnt have memory/will alteration capacity beyond normal gaming(Neosphere approved safety by showing just how harmless it can be with all of it's safety mechanism in that story world). While I am not a neurologist so this is outside my field, I think I remember that the areas for sensorial data and the areas for memories arent shared in the brain, so as long as the nerve gear is built in a way that it can only affect sensorial areas of the brain, It should remain pretty safe (until people decide to reverse engeneering them and building more dangerous and illegal versions....)

    I don't know much about microwave transceivers, but I'd imagine they'd be safe if they operated at very low frequencies, just high enough to stimulate parts of the brain that deal with the 5 senses (and the subcategories of them).
    Maybe something like the NerveGear would have long-term effects on the brain, but probably too far into the future for it to even matter. Also, in the anime there's mentioned to be a safety element for the NerveGear, which isn't explained in depth at all. I'm sure that's also a key factor to how the technology is possible.
    And finally, I think the show makers did put a lot of research into SAO. The year is set in 2022, and thanks to exponential growth in information technology, this could be roughly the time we achieve tech capable of full dive VR. We will for SURE have photo-realistic graphics, ubiquitous. By then we will also be 95% through the Human Brain Project (on the current trajectory), so we will know all we need to know for full dive VR.
    Plus, it's possible the same experience as the NerveGear could be achieved with other things than microwaves, like maybe focused ultrasonic waves. But hey, what do I know, I'm only 13 and barely started high-school... I'm just hopeful I'll get to play games like SAO soon.

    For the desc of the nerve gear you should have just said it paralyzes the body and uses the brain as the hard drive... this would most likely also change the outlook for each person (as the brain could send messages into the game that is not actually there) and not to mention how great this technology would be as blind, deaf, mute and other disablities will be eliminated. P.S: There are people actually making a software like the nerve gear already...

There are also exoskeleton suits that simulate touch senses. I do not think anything but feeling, seeing, and hearing the game really matter.

So don't give up hope, who knows, maybe in 3 or 4 years, scientists might very well create something that will make a thing like nervegear possible.

    I just want to note that i believe the anime/novels etc (at least in the late mother's rosario arc) actually states electromagnetic pulses are used to block and simulate brain activity (paralyse the body and then give sensory feedback)
    Although i dont know how plausible this is with current tech, i am aware that magnetic fields exert a force on charged particles (such as those which take part in neural activity like transmitting signals from the brain to the body and vice versa) and can so be used to effectively immobilize those particles and interrupt the signal (technically put them in a very tight orbit but that effectively makes them immobile). Most importantly, i believe magnetic fields dont have any harmful effects for people
    The problem with this of course is making the magnetic field narrow enough to target specific nerves (i.e not stopping your heart/lungs while paralysing your limbs) and getting past the issue of the fact that the magnetic field will affect every nerve in between it's source and the one it is targeting (at the very least) so targeted stimulation/blocking will be very hard if at all possible to achieve. That's mostly for blocking out the external environment, i have head of experiments focusing on stimulation of brain cells but from what i read it is not very targeted and suffers from the same problems as the blocking (to stimulate something deeper within the brain everything between the transmitter and the targeted brain cell will be influenced)
    However, something akin to a full body suit that can create a fulldive experience is much more plausible if you ask me, we already have a usable understanding of how we can stimulate our various senses and headsets such as the emotiv EEG have made big advances in mapping brain activity and can effectively be used as a controller for your in game avatar while the full body suit handles sensory feedback.

But I actually hope they create a nerve gear at least similar to the nerve gear in SAO cuz I would REALLY wanna play SAO (but without the whole dying thing and being stuck in the game) It would actually be really amazing

I'm convinced that there is a company that is miles ahead from others in terms of VR progress and they may not be releasing the "top secret progress " .

    • @VirtualDreamers
      @VirtualDreamers  10 років тому

      It's hard to speculate considering that if it were a secret, there'd be no way to know for certain. That being said, looking at it from a practical level, the amount of funding that would be necessary to make something like a Full Dive anytime soon would be enormous. It'd be nigh impossible for any publicly traded company to hide such a thing from its investors without risking and immense suit for fraud so I'd say there's probably no company directly working on it. However, it is highly likely that the technologies components are being created as a result of research in the medical and biomechanics fields, though not with the Full Dive in mind so much as neural knowledge and human computer interfaces for patients. This tech could be repurposed eventually for the "Full Dive", but I think technology that directly interacts with the brain may be decades away. That being said, half steps that get close enough to satisfy most people will not be far off at all. I myself wish to conduct some experiments with EEGs to create kinesthetics and VR controls along with my design for VR touch as well. At this point, we musn't forget that the people at corporations are still just that, people. They can have their creativity stifled by corporate greed and stubborness just as we can innovate out of hope for a greater tomorrow. Palmer Luckey, the creator of the Oculus Rift and OculusVR, managed to create an innovation that should have been possible 5 years ago through creative thinking and taking advantage of the resources available to him (a phone display, some lenses and computer.)
      In my case at the very least, I'm just going to be giving away my ideas since I'm more interested in making sure VR in the near term succeeds to begin with in place of immediate financial gains. Afterall, if a NerveGear like device ends up costing $1000, that device would effectively be the last big purchase anyone would ever need to make again in their life. Rich or poor, the best VR will not discriminate such petty things. I can live in a rundown apartment yet still live life to the fullest in my VR paradise.
      Hope that answers your question. We can believe, but it doesn't hurt to try putting in the efforts ourselves ;)

      That could be very close. I'm actually planning on trying out an EEG (electroencephalogram, a device that reads the electrical bi-products of brain activity, usually used to infer intents, feelings, and conditions (epilepsy is mostly diagnosed using this tech)) solution called the Emotiv Insight next year, which has recently been used in prosthesis due to improvements in effectiveness and computational power. I think controls of that degree will be doable soon and have my own implementation I want to experiment with once I get the Emotiv Insight in. That being said, it'll probably be another 3-4 years before anything even close to an MMO starts to come out within reason and even if we start to figure out full body implementations net year like I'm expecting, it'll probably be another 2-3 years till it get's out to the market. It's nice to hear that not everyone is expecting or requires things like touch or taste (though both are coming eventually) since VR is still at it's earliest baby steps in the modern market, though given enough time, VR should reach SAO levels, Brain computer interface or not if you ask me.

      Breathing is involuntary in many degrees. It can be voluntary when you pay attention to it and manipulate your diaphragm, but your body has involuntary muscles that will make you breathe without your input. It's because of this reason that being neurally cut off doesn't stop your heart (quadrepligics basically are cut off from everything from the neck down, that includes the heart and lungs). This likewise means that things such as reflexes weren't within the NerveGear's purview and such you're body would reflexively perform actions in response to particular stimuli, regardless of the device's negation.

    I'm not a scientist so I wouldn't know for sure but in a "near" future it would be possible right ?

    • @VirtualDreamers
      @VirtualDreamers  10 років тому

      It probably would have and I though that's what they did initially, but this video is an analysis of what the anime, manga, and light novels presented us directly, so I wasn't aiming to analyze how they could have built it better.
      Also, there is no such thing electronic waves. I think you mean electromagnetic radiation, which is the light spectrum. Microwaves fall within that spectrum as well and the waves below it (radio) are too weak to really do anything and just kind of pass through you and infrared tends to be bogged down at the surface as well. Ultra violet and above wouldn't be useable due to their dangers and overall, it becomes a really complex matter. I'm planning on doing videos about waves, the electromagnetic spectrum, and electricity as a whole later on to better educate everyone since I often hear people toss around things like "brain wave manipulation" or "sending signals to the brain" without putting much thought into what that actually implies. Don't worry, a lot of people don't know about this stuff, myself included in many of the finer aspects, but with the internet, there really isn't anything you can't teach yourself how to do.
      I believe "Full Dive" VR or something close to it will be possible within this decade (2015-2019), but I'm relatively sure whatever solution we come up with won't involve direct neural stimulation simply due to how complex, risky, and laborious that would be. My experiences with the Oculus Rift DK2 tell me that we don't really need the direct brain stimulation though and that many people will be blown away by just how immersive the consumer versions of these things will be (the Oculus Rift Dk2 is a developers kit and it's already so good that it makes staring at rocks interesting. I can only imagine what it will be like when its screen reaches 4k at 90hz with professionally made demos). My mind will be blown. All we really need now I'd say are touch and control solutions to get a really hit the transcendent mark, and I can see solutions for both on the horizon. Color me optimistic :)

    • @VirtualDreamers
      @VirtualDreamers  10 років тому

      I'm not outside to that possibility, though going on the understanding of the laws of physics we have now, I'd suggest either looking into other methods pulling a Kayaba Akihiko and revolutionizing the field to to pull out the knowledge we need. I don't particularly like betting on wildcards so I wouldn't bet on the latter being a reasonable expectation.
      That being said, just because the exact methodology the show demonstrated seems to be holding too much water ILR, that doesn't mean we can't achieve VR by other means. I want to encourage people to investigate other methods to achieve our desired effect (VR) so that we don't miss out on potentially revolutionary technology because we're fixated on doing it a particular way. The Oculus Rift runs circles around anything we've done previously in VR and more technology is being worked on to make VR like what we saw in Sword Art Online possible rather soon.
      I don't like saying something is impossible, but I do acknowledge some things can take more work to do than others. It can never hurt investigate every avenue at our disposition is one is proving problematic. There's an infinite number of ways to get the number 4, so if 2+3 isn't it, perhaps we should look at other methods right?
      Hope this clears up my thinking a bit. I want to do a video discussing strategies for VR technological development, but time isn't a particularly abundant resource for me at the moment. Thank you for commenting and keep investigating what you please if you feel there's something there others aren't seeing. :)
      By the way, we have quite a lot more than 5 senses. I made a video about it recently here ( ua-cam.com/video/Xyyba98t8EU/v-deo.html ). The "5 senses" model is actually a good 2000 years old and was founded on mistaken principles. We have more than a dozen at the very least

    One word: BIC. In Accel world (written by the same guy, falls in the same universe) the BIC (brain implant chip) came after the Nerve Gear. However, if we really want Full Dive VR, a chip implanted into our brain stem is a realistic option. There are BIC's being put into mice to scan how the brain talks to its body. A helmet that taps into the chip, redirecting all information to a computer program, is honestly scarily possible. Not easy, but if a company decided to put funding towards this, we could have this within a decade (which would be by 2025, not too far off). The only problem i see is how LEGAL it would be. Testing on human brains is a very sketchy a best, with the number of bad things that could come out of this kind of research abnormally high. There are, however medical possibilities as well. Imagine, being able to preform surgery without having to wait on normal anesthetics, you just have a nurse hold a device to the back of their necks, and wherever your going to be preforming surgery goes numb. Lives could be saved because of the increased efficiency. Alas, you has the balls to do the research Q.Q

    You guys need to understand the concept for this to even be a reality, It will take so much work, and detail. a lot of projects to integrate all in one device. It takes a average off 3-10 years to make some of the games today. Just imagine a Full Dive game... Even if it was a reality, It wont be any time soon.

    something that has always bothered me about the whole science and sense of being "trapped in the game" Batteries don't last forever, so don't you think if they just waited for the nervegear to run out of power, microwaves wouldn't be able to attack the brain.. (in short) No battery, no microwaves, no death.. so long as people decided not to be so adventurous.. I mean, right?

    im quite excited to see the kind of worlds and places people and game engineers are going to be creating once we are able to transfer our consciousness to the game world. Of course that's years away and the best thing we have is the Oculus rift at the moment which is still pretty cool. But I think the holy grail is when we can transfer into virtual worlds and create infinite possibilities in entertainment and real world use such as medical practices or engineering. Being able to move through spaces such as flying like superman which is physically impossible in the real world is going to become a dream in the virtual world ^.^ Im also quite curious of all the new friends you will be making in these worlds. Social gameplay is going to be different then what we have now. Its going to be awesome but for now all we can do is wait and wait and wait and wait till that day... :( hopefully you help achieve this mark! ^.^

      I'll be honest, I think the only things holding the current VR solutions back from making people completely hand over their wallets is the lack of touch, haptics, equilibrioception, and most importantly, a full body control input that doesn't require an entire suit. I think solutions for all of those are possible this year, but I've moved my projections for their actualization back to next year since it doesn't look like any lab or studio is going to be getting this right any time soon. I'll be sharing more of my ideas on how this could be done here on the channel so hopefully someone in the community may be able to pull it off if I don't. I'm confident I can though and it's because of the new possibilities that VR brings that I've been so drawn to it. My own game is practically unfeasible as a concept without a high versatility control system like what full body VR offers. It's like the leap in potential that used to come with the release of new consoles, but even more amazing.
      Thank you for commenting and I expect to be on the mark with this ;)

    u r very much correct, but I'm shr at some stage in time, we will have full dive technology, most likely not in the next 20 years, but it depends on how fast politics and whatnot decides on whether they should give it a shot or not, I'm shr it will happen at some stage.

      I believe it depends on how committed someone/some company is to developing something like this, and there would probably be legal troubles in developing something like this because it could be dangerous.

      Everything is possible! I'm a huge advocate of that philosophy and avoid using the word impossible because I know I'll eat my words if I do so without care. Practical is another story though. It's possible that I could teleport from here to Proxima Centauri, but the chances are so absurdly low it's not worth counting on.
      I believe that a device that can achieve a Full Dive experience can be made within this decade, however I think we need to look at the question more carefully and with a different approach than what the show presented. I've seen quite a few people claim we can't achieve VR or don't want us to achieve VR without using a direct brain interface for every part of the experience. I humbly disagree with this line of thinking and would argue that most of the people that believe this will cave in VERY quickly once they see what modern technology can deliver.
      The follow up I've got planned for this video will cover the creation of a NerveGear like device in principles to create a foundation that people can reference to see if progress is being made towards delivering an optimal experience.

    its like... I'm way 3,000 years into the future of tech and science is way back in 2016, and as I'm all the way in 5016 and I'm screaming all the way back to 2016 science saying "MOVE YOUR ASS SCIENCE"
