Another note, I'm actually pretty glad I developed the Aege sheet that was currently used in this collab. Seeing it used at its fullest is awesome! I'm sure the limitations would've been harder with the older Aege sheet haha. Crazy to think that I was probably like 9 years old watching these little goobers beat the shit out of each other and here I am, years later, still watching them fight at 24. This collab was insane, props to all these animators for pushing their animation skills further and further beyond.
Unironically my new favourite video on the entirety of the platform, these 2 are and will remain THE Kirby OCs, none of the others are as iconic (except maybe for Quote)
Wow what an amazing Kirby sprite animation! This shows how far techniques have blossomed over the past 15 years. This in a true super high speed, smooth 3-D in 2-D experience. I like the details of the fight like Saito taking Aege to the sky thinking he was going to have an advantage only to have Aege surprisingly start dominating the fight at that point. Then to have the tables turn yet again because in lore Aege is not particularly in good shape for a Kirby character so he tires out and Saito takes control. Only to then have the cumulative battle damage they both took turn the battle to a back and forth attrition that ended in the only satisfying conclusion: both Saito and Aege taking a nice little nap. "Just like old times, huh?" That's right Kirby and we would not want it any other way. Excellent sprite animation collab!

I grew up watching Aege and Saito since from 2012-2013, and seeing this once again puts a smile on my face, thank you for this amazing piece of work pulled off, really. I know of a few who did ask on the relevance of my current photo with the stuff I do these days, but its still always there as a part of my memory that made me what I am these days. Hopefully this also makes me wanting for more of these kinds of content to watch in the near future...

This collab takes me back to the old days, watching Aege and Saito beat the hell out of each other in many different scenarios. Everyone did so good, not only with the animation, but with taking into account each of their abilities. Nicely done!
Back then sprite animations were mostly limited to 2D perspective, but holy shit how you guys have taken it so much further. This was such a nostalgic trip while still making it modern. You all have nothing but my respect. Thank you for bringing back precious memories of why we all fell in love with making Kirby FCs and animating them, and amazing job on this collab. ❤️
This was out of this world on every single front!! Everyone who took part in this went absolutely INSANELY hard! It is straight up surreal seeing something I loved so long ago just still be here, and constantly growing. I'd hoped I'd never forget my love of sprite animations and I never have. This stuff always inspired me to create art and stuff when I was back in middle school and now I've graduated college and I can say that I've grown alot in that regard. Ahh yes the EPIC Kirb battle of the ages is here. Two Veterans duking it out to see who came on top. I really do have a nostalgia for seeing these two (plus Kirby) doing some wacky adventure or just fighting each other. I do really appreciate watching this and I bet both Lone and DS are very proud seeing this. I think everyone did an amazing job (if your part did not then I still like your involvement) doing this collab. these kinds of videos were my childhood, i've watched lone and DS constantly in early 2010 and maybe even before that. As a kid I loved these two characters, and would help me build and make my own original characters So cool to see these two iconic kirby fan characters represented in such a tremendous fashion.
