To wind the coils around the toroid it is much easier to fold a single wire at its centre so you have a U shape and keep threading the U through the hole .when the desired number of turns are made cut the U to form two windings

    Beutiful,
Whats the maximum voltage this can hold?. And could an increase in both input voltage and number of coils in an inducgor increase voltage?

It can hold about 100 volts if you use an appropriate capacitor. Yes if you increase the initial voltage the output voltage will increase but l don’t recommend to go far forward.

Does Using thick wire increases its ampere?

I made a big one. You helped me in the end. Youre very helpful. Mine has a giant 43 material toroid and a custom kind of Wrap. It's able to do really cool stuff

This is one of a few things I want to show you. I thought it's very cool. Mine can light 36 watt wall plug LEDs with only 2.2 volts when the power supply can't light it at all with 28.8 volts. It's so interesting because it's not a "transformer" with only equal wraps... there's no primary with less windings and no secondary with more windings. I'm fascinated by this circuit. The Joule Theif and Laser Saber's Joule Ringer 3.0. His has a primary and a secondary with many more turns but mine has only the bifilar wrap. But I made a very special kind. I invented a new type of Rodin Coil that I believe is better than the original.

Hello awesome video, I want to build a giant joule thief that could draw enormous amounts of current for a larger project, can you give me directions which transistors to use besides building the a very large toroidal transformer?

You can use the same transistors by connecting more than one in parallel. Thus it can handle high current.

The switching isn't stable, too few turns on the core, and that core is for higher frequencies, you're hitting 1khz, the more input voltage the transistor is gonna get super hot, add a 10 ohm after the 1k resistor to the base.

with this 12v 21W lamp, joule no longer vibrates, but the lamp glows directly with a 3.7v battery. that is, they are not as effective. the load on the fan is so low that it works well

I have easily received a joule thief from the converter from a 160v 1.2v battery

What is the point of discharging the capacitor with the battery still connected, I wonder...
Apart from making sparks fly of course.

There is no significant point. I just wanted to show the energy inside it.

I had guessed right; it's just for the sparks ;)
