IMDB has this ep down as 06-May-64 and the whole series of this TV version of "Supense" as airing in 1964. Yet the print is clearly dated 1959 as was the other surviving ep namely "I, Buck Larsen". Did it take 5 years to get to air? Is there a correct 1959 air date please?
Produced in 1959.....and finally telecast on May 6, 1964 {featuring Sebastian Cabot as host, who provided opening and closing comments on videotape}. Apparently, 13 episodes were filmed by the network for the 1958-'59 season, and were "shelved"--- until James T. Aubrey virtually threw them on the air as a replacement for Red Rowe's "TELL IT TO THE CAMERA" on Wednesday evenings [the series continued through the summer with repeat episodes from "SCHLITZ PLAYHOUSE"].
Interesting historically and quite moving!
Thank you for these uploads. Keep mining for gold, gems and pebbles and we'll be watching. 🌹
Always loved Marshall's acting
Wonderful performances by all - great production, exciting finish! Simple story told so well... as expected from the landmark Suspense series! ♥
The engine sounds like its idling during the in cab shots

EG Marshall is playing the same character as in The Bachelor Party (1957)
that was …….suspenseful
Great show! Thank you for uploading this. This entire series deserves to be in syndication and back on TV.
Kids, don't try this at home. I doubt very much that you could pull off this maneuver in real life. Any professional truck drivers have an opinion?
