It’s easy to forget that this isn’t mainstream TV! So easy to watch, informative without being tech heads, and the odd moment of comedy gold thrown in. You make the hard graft look effortless. Cracking!
Thanks Mike just the 3 of us in our team me,phil and the camera person absolutely trying our hardest to make the best content we can, learning along the way much appreciated 😊

It’s great to see professionals at work doing a great job, and while they take their work very seriously, they can still have a laugh along the way! Well done.
Lads i only found your channel recently & binged watched about 10 episodes. I’m a sparky but i’ve learnt so much watching you, fun & informative. I was getting others to do my garden room but doin it myself now. Keep uploading.👏🏻
Can’t believe how far you come Matt ❤ multi millionaire now unbelievable just shows the hard work pays off your a likeable lad ❤ fair play mate wish nothing but the best for you and your family ❤ Edit lol 😂 great craftsman ship by the lads top notch
Thanks so much for the video its amazing and I will be doing something similar in my garden using this! I think the hardest part is getting straight wood, I made the mistake of ordering wood from a local supplier for my decking and ended up spending as much time making it straight and flat as I did building it. Pretty much all the wood bowed up down left or right, won't be falling for that mistake again!
Hi guys. Great video. You make it look so easy! Love your style of presenting. Can I ask why you don’t cover all of the bottom of the big beams that are in the postcrete? Thanks
I have just subscribed through seeing you guys on Matts channel love the work you but I did not get to see how the rubber was finalised and fixed to the roof or is that coming keep up the great work cant wait for the next video.
When you build corners of the walls like these guys, essentially, they created a big dead spot for isolation. And a few other things like the double header... on the stud wall has more funtion than fixing the wall sections together. Essentially, since there's a roof on top. But im probably just being to professional 😂 respect for the effort!
@homeimprovements youtubes not my business and projects like that don't come along all the time. But instead of you taking it on the chin and saying thanks, you try to deflect👍 Your not totally micky mouse 😉. We have a saying in construction, which is a jack of all trades and a master of non. And you don't know the proper technical terms 🙄
I love air fryers and this one looks amazing. If I was lucky enough to win this I would cook lamb kleftico with a delicious potato tomato pepper onion air fried with a tomato herb garlic sauce side. Love your videos Clare keep them coming x
@mat Armstrong I'm here before you comment on this video and I'm your biggest fan and I wish that I can atleast win a signed part from Agnes that has Mats signature so I can put it in my display cabinet
I really wish you guys would calm down with the youtube personalities, waving your hands around like a sparky 😂 i get it the Americans love it and its probably pulling they yanky numbers in . We all watch it for the building work , maybe its because im in the trade . The varied content is good though 👏
A yank here and no, I can do without the youtube acting for the camera which unfortunately most youtubers think Is necessary. I just want to see people get to the task at hand. Being a builder in the US i find the subtle differences in terminology, techniques, and materials interesting. Nice work boys.

Ping a line = Snap a line.
Sound like cheerio’s 😂
Snap crackle and pop
Looks brilliant!! top job!! will you vent the roof space or fill it with insulation?
Will be vented 😁
Hi guys. Great video. You make it look so easy! Love your style of presenting. Can I ask why you don’t cover all of the bottom of the big beams that are in the postcrete? Thanks
Hi thanks 😊 We only cover at the soil line where the post rot the rest is left so the moisture can escape
Great work guys, be careful using the plastic top trestles to stand on as I’ve had those ones snap at the handle in the middle.
Thanks mate and will do 😊🙏🏼
nooice
I have just subscribed through seeing you guys on Matts channel love the work you but I did not get to see how the rubber was finalised and fixed to the roof or is that coming keep up the great work cant wait for the next video.

Maybe Mr John you can make us a video so we can all learn from your one 😊
@homeimprovements youtubes not my business and projects like that don't come along all the time. Matt should turn the flooded Bentley into a gardening structure in his yard
Like a statue 😂😂
hey guys great videos could i ask what nail gun you use for first fix please
Currently Dewalt but considering the plaslode Dewalt is very heavy 🙈
I love air fryers and this one looks amazing. If I was lucky enough to win this I would cook lamb kleftico with a delicious potato tomato pepper onion air fried with a tomato herb garlic sauce side. Love your videos Clare keep them coming x
I love air fryers to 😊
better quality than my house haha
😂😂 probably ours to
4:25 "maybe one more" proceeds to wack it twice. LOL
🤣🤣 I can’t count 👌🏼
Excellent channel excellent work lads impressed 😁😉
Thank you so much 😀
Mk2 in the background. 😊
Mk2 ?
Cracking work, sub'd! What level do you guys use?
Legend we use imex mate 😁💪🏼
Notice you never use eye protection when using any of your power tools especially the nail guns. Interesting concept.
We are trying to use them a lot more now we just sometimes forget. That’s our bad 😊
mickey flanagan's chicken children right here.😁
🤣
Invest in a mag drill for your flitch beams if you do a lot of them, much quicker and easier.
Great tip ✅ 😊
Somebody wake-up Mat, he have to many dreams.
Okay 👌
Hi lads what size are the rafters that you used and the thickness of the steel used in the flitch beam cheers
6x2 rafterss and 10mm plate 😊
👍
Nice one 🙌
Like watching this kinda stuff but how is he going to fit all his cars in there 😂
Putting all the small cars in there 😂😂
good job, really nice.
can you help me with the model of your boots? thank you very much
Thanks these are Dewalt anniversary boots 😊
Genuine question, if you are using self leveling compund, why the need for all the hieght markers across the floor instead of just one height guide?
To make sure we have the correct depths plus it will only move so far due to it viscosity 😊👍🏼
what gun where you using for the ppn nails.
by the way enjoying every bit of this build,
Dewalt dcn694n thanks for the support means a lot to the channel 🙌🙌
Subbed from matt
Legend 💪🏼
@mat Armstrong I'm here before you comment on this video and I'm your biggest fan and I wish that I can atleast win a signed part from Agnes that has Mats signature so I can put it in my display cabinet
Thanks 😊
Not sure about stapling through the dpm where the expansion foam was attached ?
It gets cut of after and then Vapor barrier comes over creating a seal
I really wish you guys would calm down with the youtube personalities, waving your hands around like a sparky 😂 i get it the Americans love it and its probably pulling they yanky numbers in . We all watch it for the building work , maybe its because im in the trade . The varied content is good though 👏
🤣 nice one mate unfortunately this is exactly how we are in real life you can ask all those who have met us 🤣🙈
@homeimprovements it's working for you guys 👍
A yank here and no, I can do without the youtube acting for the camera which unfortunately most youtubers think Is necessary. I just want to see people get to the task at hand. Being a builder in the US i find the subtle differences in terminology, techniques, and materials interesting. Nice work boys.
The three worst backhanded compliments in the comments section...unbelievable ⛳
@@Chip_in just honesty, I still enjoy the content on the whole . The boys are tough enough to table some feedback 👍
Out of curiosity, whats the reason you don’t just build the slope into the rafters rather than cutting angles?
It reflects on the ceiling and I prefer them to be flat 😁😁
4:28 😆
6:43
fixmyproperty AI fixes this. Building Mat Armstrong's dream garden.
What nailgun was that for the hangers?
Ppn 😊
Are you having warm or cold roof ?
Cold deck on this one 😊
If I put 150mm in the floor and 120mm in walls and then 150mm in the roof would this be ok for a habitable space?
You need to get planning for a habitable space bud 😊👌🏼 they will spec insulation required
