should have tattoed on yourself then - you owe this song that much :) glad you are still here. I am doing the same thing. I am just a one big tired tiger. Every strong person can ever feel like they are overhelmed and there is no way to go. To some extent, I am eternally thankful towards this song it has shown me that. Until that I tried to be stone. We are not stones, we are tigers, sometimes tired :)
2:13 - "I will always wait for you." Pretty much broke down immediately after hearing that. A pretty tough song to hear following a break up. Beautiful song, though.
Didn't hear of them until they played on the tour with Thrice. I've been in love ever since. I listen to Waves pretty much every morning on the drive to work.
I was at that Saltair concert. There were like 7 bands who played. Manchester Orchestra was also one of them. www.setlist.fm/setlist/manchester-orchestra/2011/saltair-magna-ut-1bd19d94.html
They played this one live. So amazing. Beyond amazing! It hit perfection for me, so I almost left the show. But stayed to see it through, of course.. But I felt really satisfied.
Every time this song comes up on my phones drive playlist I break down like a little child, the emotion cuts me so deep. I still miss the girl it reminds me off with a burning ache that feels like my heart is going to explode with pain.
About a year ago I saw these guys! Heard this song live, it was so beautifully perfect. Really nice guys too, but the bass player was a little tired from touring Europe. Still made one hell of a show.
Only come to me if you see things meant to be, wouldn't you think that's what she would want to see? I want the smell of rain and love to go with it to end my pain
IWonderIff I see your point and like your honesty. but for some people, feeling pain and sadness through music can be therapeutic. It lets you know you're not alone and puts you in touch with something inside that's tender and needs to heal, deep wounds long ignored
Can't judge a band by one song, dummy. They scream in a lot of their songs and sing about trees and the sun and death and shit. You're a judgemental fool.
This song saved my life last night.
Glad you're still here!

Agreed. :(
hit me in the feels so hard man :(
Completely relatable. I believe the whole album is about a friend whom died. So don't listen to after a funeral if a break up hits that hard lol ;P
@viciousbeauty did the friend OD? I always equated this song to addiction

They got their name from a Thrice song, I'm sure you know that but yeah that tour was special.

They played this one live. So amazing. Beyond amazing! It hit perfection for me, so I almost left the show. But stayed to see it through, of course.. But I felt really satisfied.
So jealous, I never got to see them live
First time in a loooong time a song gave me chills!
placed33 that's all their songs
One of their best tracks ever made. Im 7 or 8 years clean off opiates now...anyone can do it if they want it enough
this song awakened my music production inspiration so hard
Love this song
Why have I only just heard of this band my word just amazing!
Every time this song comes up on my phones drive playlist I break down like a little child, the emotion cuts me so deep. I still miss the girl it reminds me off with a burning ache that feels like my heart is going to explode with pain.
A few times I’ve been there with this beast of a song
About a year ago I saw these guys! Heard this song live, it was so beautifully perfect. Really nice guys too, but the bass player was a little tired from touring Europe. Still made one hell of a show.
Cause I will always wait for you.. When I say you I mean YOU the one I fell in love with, not what other made you think and out to be...
WafflesJemima ya I feel you but they don't care once they got another fuck toy
Only come to me if you see things meant to be, wouldn't you think that's what she would want to see? I want the smell of rain and love to go with it to end my pain
moving mountains found me:')
Where is this band now? Finding them on FB and not available.
Sadly they aren't together anymore
To all you newcomers, please take the time to listen to their old stuff, it is so much better.
ET Phone Home ehhh Waves is easily my top 3 favorite rock albums behind Saosin's Self Titled EP with Cove Reber
@@DailyScratcher great album
3:30 to 4:10 please let me breathe
Phmess intense
I can see it
Kris Owens I can feel it
♡
MOTHER OF GOD, where can i buy the album?
Same story, oh my God.
The fact that people can shit on waves when this song exists actually baffles me
Waves is one of the best albums start to finish I've ever heard
For Bruna x
Deberían dar un rol para México xD
More Deftones Vibes.
The only song I originally didn’t enjoy as much because the chorus is just too stupidly intense lmao
about heroin?
What? Made zero sense lol
Taryn Greene what made zero sense the song?
and when I say negative I mean overall sound just gets you down and thats stupid as hell
decided to check out a band girls love. damn this is way too dramatic and negative. vocalist sounds a tad too young and high pitched for me to enjoy.
