Very beautiful swing from cadrboard box ❤
Thank you so much 😊
Hi I am doing a physics project for grade 12 and am making something similar to this ride you have created, would you mind listing the materials you used for this build? That would be soooo helpful. Thank you and I hope to hear back from you!
hii im doing the same! did u ever find the materials or a more detailed description of this project?
@@julietaaa555 oooh I did end up finishing the project. So what I did was:
For materials, I used a wooden dowel sticks instead of the cardboard in this video. The cardboard in the video is called corrugated cardboard, it's a special type of cardboard that is super flexible so that allows it to be shaped into a cylinder.
For functionality, I connected a paper towel roll to the base of the project (where people would sit if it was an actual ride) where I glued a DC motor. This is what allows the thing to spin. Make sure you get one that is reasonably thick so that you can just make a hole into a piece of cardboard so that the DC motor stays in-place and spins the base.
I routed a wire through the paper towel roll which connects from the DC motor (positive and negative) to a battery holder (positive and negative). I used like a 6 or 7 volt battery so that it wouldn't die out on me lol but you could totally do a smaller one, it would be better because my battery was heavy and made it hard to control. Then I used 4 pieces of cardboard that i glued together and made a cutout for a light switch that was connected in series to the battery and motor.
So whenever you press the switch the thing at the bottom (where people would sit if it was an actual ride) would spin.
The swinging mechanism was manual. I couldn't figure out how to get that to work.
Good luck I hope I helped. And feel free to ask me more questions.
Nice
List the materials
Been my hobby since childhood as well but with bamboo sticks and without motors ! Awesome job mate.
Ps: Kindly check my video for that.
Hello may i know What kinds of materials did you use in the drop tower video i just needed for my science project and can you please include the type of wire and the Switch that you have use In the Video of drop tower
That’s so cool! I love those kinds of rides at amusement parks and I would love to have my own mini pendulum ride toy like that but in blue.
What kind of motor did you use?
I like this, its super cool! :) 10/10
잘 만들었다..!❤
Good job,can you please make another rides I want to learn how to make this.
Many times I tried and it was bad
Tbh it doesn’t show us how to really make it because all u did is just fly by and never actually went time by time so in that case u just showed us how u made it
