You speak the hard truths that we need to hear and know in this day. 100% agree with you about what America is and how it has become its own end in most peoples lives. If Christ was the center and end and reason for this country then it would be successful. Unfortunately that is not the way it is. I wish all priests could speak the truth as you do. May God Bless you and continue to give you the graces to speak as you do.

I ❤ Father Mawdsley. I made a large oil painting of Sacred Heart of Jesus in the old masters style but not quite as realistic. Yesterday, I enthroned it on my fireplace mantel with the ceremony from Father Mateo's book. Christ is King, and June is His Sacred Heart month. Glory to God, our King!

Hi father. This is not on subject but one I need answered. I live in Mississippi where there is no latin mass in the state. Iwas told by a traditional priest in Indianapolis where I used to live that I could watch the latin mass online live and that would fulfill my obligation to sunday mass. Fast forward 3 years ,I'm back in Indy visiting and I went to Holy Rosary catholic church that has both forms. I went to confession and asked a different priest if that was still true and he said that watching live online does not fulfill my obligation! Will please tell me the truth? I really look to you for direction. I want to be pleasing to Our Lord I just feel you know, yucky going to the novus ordo. Thank you for your swift response! God bless you 🙏
If you’re asking a priest during confession and he answers you, WHY do you seek another priest to answer the same question? Because he is telling you the truth. If there’s no LM available where you live and you are able to physically go to mass, go, both are a valid mass, and not gathering with other faithful leaves you isolated, you need the fellowship of the church. Things are changing, please take advantage of receiving the holy Eucharist on the tongue, I believe this is how you prefer, and you will greatly benefit much more than from watching on line. I feel for you and all of us who desire our holy Latin mass, it’s hard these days, please go, I’m praying for you and ALL OF US. when church attendance is down, they close the doors and are sold, support your local Catholic church so you may receive the body and blood of our Lord Jesus in the Eucharist with gratitude ❤️🛐✝️🕊️
I’m not sure what to tell you Other than I would try to move to a state that has the Latin mass even if you have to get a new job
I think it is fine to go to a Novus Ordo if there is no TLM. Wear your veil, receive by tongue and be a living witness to tradition.

In the meantime, we note that our obligation to assist at Holy Mass on Sundays binds only in locales in which the Church provides a suitable Mass. As the saying goes, "Where there is no Mass, there is no Mass to miss." In such a case, a person may choose to watch a video-recorded or livestreamed Mass, but there is no obligation to do so, and it would not constitute assisting at Mass. God bless you.
@TheFatimaCenter hi. Are you saying that the local novus ordo is not a mass to assist in? Am I not fulfilling my responsibility by watching and participating live online to let's say, St. John Cantius latin mass ? Help me, I'm confused!
