    In life I’ve realized you have to spend a good amount of money to make a good amount of money. Instead of buying 3-4 blasters I’d save the money and buy a couple top tier or musuem collection. The hits hit way harder. Easier to make more $ quicker.

      I’ve realized the true way to make money is by not opening product, but by buying cards people deem “not worthy anything” and selling those for profit :)

    What people don't understand that Success is a process. The four levels of Success is You're terrible, Below Average, Above average and then you're great. The time varies in those stages but no one starts out being great. and so many people quit before they get to the above average stage. Keep up the grind. you're doing great. You motivate me to keep going with your videos. Keep up the good work.

Just because you never see that above average and or great stages that you might think or hope to hit, to some people they might consider your outcome great, amazing, and of the best results for themselves. It’s truly amazing all the support you guys have given me in the last 3 months and I’m glad that I can reach so many people and supporters that actually truly enjoy and find motivation out of the content. I appreciate the kind words and the fact you left this super nice comment. Thank you for reaching out, sadly I’m not able to currently sell items on commision for anyone, because of laws preventing me to do so. In order for me to actually do consignments of any kind I would have to jump through some loopholes and acquire an auctioneers license, a contractual agreement, and other details in order to operate that endeavor. Sadly for the foreseeable future I won’t be able to offer any sort of commision based service until I get some stuff in order to do so. Again I thank you for your words and glad that you enjoyed the videos :)

    I sell on eBay but it’s really not that bad. Once you have an efficient way to pull orders and list quickly it really isn’t that much work. I spend no more then 2 hours in a day on shipping and listing and I make a minimum wage income on the side. It isn’t “glorious” but there is still a market for low end and it has the biggest and sustainable profit margin in the hobby

      Yea for me I just don’t know think im at the point where I can’t get remotely close to where I’d get if I listed on eBay, there’s some stuff I might be able to get more if I listed on there, but that would be a future endeavor I got a lot of stuff to do in my current life and position

    For me, Ive been doing it part-time since June of 2023 and I have profitted about $4,000 and I still have around $10K of inventory factored into that profit as well. So $14K aint bad for a part time gig. I think it all depends on one's goal. If their goal is to make a decent amount of money to pay for bills, its doable. Although its considerably tougher to make a living off of it unless you're a machine who can list like 500 cards a day. At some point, I think you'll have to graduate to mid-to-high end. But when you do so, the risks increase too so there could be days where you lose.

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  День тому

      Yea it’s really difficult to actually estimate your inventory on hand particularly for cards / sports cards. I almost don’t even really try to do that myself, just because something to me that’s worth $1-$3 might not be worth that amount to many other people and the amount of people with that exact card that just value it as nothing and or less than what I value said card is a lot more than what the demand would agree with it being. For example, just sold a steph curry field level select card for $5.99 + shipping I believe, but that’s a card that some people might just throw in their value bins at about $1 or so depending on the vendor or how they value it. And you have to find those buyers willing to pay that exorbitant amount of money for those cards. It’s better if you know you can easily get $0.10 in bulk lots like on whatnot if I ran 10 card lots at $2 a lot, at a minimum I’ll recoup about $1.40 or so per lot, so at a minimum I’d be getting $.14 per card and that’s sadly only for cards that are actually worth it to someone to purchase at that price point of $2 + potential shipping for the ten card lots. Just difficult to gauge what cards are going to go for by the time you sell them and if you can actually get “last comp” or whatever you might be hoping to get out of them

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  День тому +1

      Yea people post a ton of cards on there, sometimes I even buy bulk lots from people just from them posting singular cards or lesser lots. Like one I just picked up this last week I grabbed 150 cards (going to show a MAILDAY on that this week sometime) and I got it for $70 shipped, a ton of the new select cards and a lot of the big name rookies. The seller ended up posting one lot of the select cards maybe around 20 cards or so and i messaged them if they potentially had anything else they wanted to sell, ended up getting a 150 card deal alot of the new select football product and almost half a whatnot show worth of inventory for me, during my last week before going to a big 3 day show. they have a channel you can post whatever it is you're looking for and people message me about stuff they want to sell all the time. There's approaching 6,000 members in the discord so cards are being posted constantly

    Enjoying your content and thought process. As a lifelong collector who’s built his collection through his collection.. I think in time you will gravitate away from obscure players and more towards just the proven commodities. Sure you may be able to find a Marc Bulger super collector, but there’s nobody else looking for his cards so odds of making big profits are slim to none. The good and consistent money is through the greats and proven players. Please don’t take this is as disrespect or anything other then just some advice from someone who’s been in the game 30+ years.

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  2 дні тому +1

      Definitely agree with you there, the mark bulger cards is all stuff I bought pretty much the last 2 3 day shows, he had a ton of really amazing value bins especially for super unique stuff, when I’m looking through I can’t pass up rare unique stuff like that for those price points, if they were $5-10 in stickers I probably wouldn’t have bought any, but $1 for golds and game used patches of someone who’s a qb just seemed like a no brainer for me. If anything I just run them on whatnot and have about 15-20 cards that I’m into profit on that someone might just find cool until they get them new homes :) with those $1-$3 stickers I just couldn’t pass on them figured they were no brainers :)

    • @ruffasportscards
      @ruffasportscards  2 дні тому +1

      Plus I did get a nice % off the bulk deals I do with this vendor, and now he likes me more and more because of how much I pile up and buy from him so I’m also willing to take more and more chances on rare and unique stuff and cards especially now in my journey where I’m starting to get pretty much what I’d get if I sold stuff on eBay or more in some cases (selling on whatnot) just building relationships with this particular vendor is worth it to me to stack up this really cool stuff and try to find them new homes
