Oh yes, from one of the greatest and heaviest metal albums ever written. Believe it or not, Cliff Burton DOES NOT do the three-finger galloping, but I included it anyway since everybody assumes he does. Go check out the Rock Band multitrack if you don't believe me.

If there's one good thing coming out of this quarantine, it's covers like these that display some outstanding musicianship. Saw you at a TSO show in Dec. 2018 (Newark), which was awesome, but doesn't do your bass-playing skills enough justice. Loved Cliff's contribution on the record, but your interpretation is something he would have thoroughly endorsed. Thank you for keeping us musicians/fans entertained and inspired.

Bro nice job and I know we have the tabs but it would help a little if the camera didn't switch that much so we can keep track of what's being done on the fret.

That was pretty solid. Well articulated, good tone, however, there were a few times throughout the tune that your triplets sounded a little too even. There were several times that you nailed the feel, especially in the latter half of the tune. Sometimes it's tough to get the correct swing AND the articulation, but it's that swing that really drives the tune. I know you know what I'm talking about, because much of the time you nail it dead on, but not consistently. You know you can, and otherwise, you got that shit nailed. Good one, brother.

So the main riff is a gallop? I have such a hard time galloping on the E.
Welllllll...... If you listen to the isolated bass tracks Cliff Burton doesn't actually gallop the main riff. he plays the first note of each gallop. But not a lot of people are aware of this and would expect it to be galloped so I did it anyway.
@@TonyDickinsonBG I'm just listening to the isolated bass tracks now and I see what you mean. Cant argue with Mr.Burton, but I think isolated the gallop sounds amazing. And its an excellent chop builder song. Back to practice I go.
