I would say they are both an almost same level. Fronius is the nr. 1 from Austria, Lorch one of the best in Germany (there are more brands in Germany, therfore "one of the best")
I got an Amico ct160 I welded with 175 feet of cord into 110v with 1/8 7018 at 115 amps no problems. I really can't believe how the machine preforms for an Amazon $200 at this point it almost 5 years old no problems

Nice Machine. At Work we got "Lorch Micorstick 160 cel", they're advertised even for extension cords up to 200 meters or 650 ft. ;)

@@LukasZ92.EWM bro, but quite expensive!
I’ve had I’ve had fronius 140 for 30 years working every day working off 13 amp fuse
Stretch, didn't you already make one of these or this video many years ago?
I used 250ft of cord on mine they are made to run on 300ft
Does it make a lot of difference between 180A and 150A? does it mean the 150 would struggle with 4mm rods? (equating to 8mm steel?)

@@dwiltd 30 amps

hello, we couldn't decide on the selection of fronius transpocket 180 and lincoln 161s cellulosic source, can you help me?
Fronius for sure!
Its hard to explain just how good the arc is on a Fronius, nothing welds like it.
What is cell option in this machine ???
For 6010/6011 rods, few welders can muscle them.
This is a great machine, but the only feature I really want is arc force. I run xmt 304s at work and I leave arc force at 70% for all rods
Can you actually run as much as 300ft of normal extension cord for it?
@@dwiltdYes you can. The manual says more than 100 meters.
First!
I own one. Will never use another manufacturer.
Why does it only go to 85 amps on stick ? Will not go past that …
It goes to 180A
@@engjds mine will only go to 85 amp. Right outta the box.
