When ur starts playing there’s a big smile... Smile comes frm d sound of guitar 🎸 That’s how it really feels when we play Martin guitars 🎸 It’s really amazing sound and great quality of guitar makes it more graceful to hear, we can feel the vibrations of d notes that we play 🎸
This is a pretty good sounding martin. I think the mahogany top gives it an interesting tone. I had the chance to play this guitar at my local music store. I already own a martin d18 and I'd love to get my hands on this model as well. Maybe if I save up by the end of next year, I'll be able to afford one. If someone is looking for a mid priced martin and can't afford a martin d18 or d28, then this would be the martin for you. It being made of solid wood is another plus in my opinion.
Spoon, please which one would tou buy the 000 version the D verison the Gpc or this Ss version?? And which would you choose if you already owned a Standard D18
Great review, as always! I own a standard D15 and it's one that I use often, perhaps even more that my D18 or D35. I recently had a chance to put the Dss15m through its paces and although slightly different from my D15, it's a great sounding guitar. I can't say it's better or worse than the D15. I'm not sure on the looks, but it's growing on me. Do you know if a standard Martin pick guard would fit this model?
The DSS is Slope shouldered and the D is more square shouldered like a typical Martin Dreadnought. Seems to have more bottom end on the DSS. At least to my ears.
