My mother used to work in a very old insane asylum. Oh my, the stories she would tell about 'things'. About the fire, when she was a little girl, both of her parents worked there. The fire was so sudden, all of the doors to individual floors were locked, you see. There were bars on the windows. The nurses and orderlies had no choice, but to pick the patients most likely to be able to escape. The patients in padded cells, or the ones tied into chairs along the hallways, were very unlucky that day. The most ambulatory patients ended up being tossed onto mattresses and pulled down the stairwells. Some of the patients, who, out of desperation, were thrown out of broken windows where the keys to the bars were found. Tossed onto matresses below, they mostly made it out alive. My grandmother told my own mother of the screams, echoing from the top of 20th street hill that bright spring morning. Screams of babies, children and the elderly. Screams of some patients who, until that day, had never uttered a sound. So, no, I would never willingly stay the night in an assylum. Not with one death. Not with 76.
Absolutely incredible story and I’ve heard similar stories told of emergencies happening in these old asylums. They didn’t have all the safety and guidance we have nowadays back then and when it did happen, a lot of the time, it would be an absolute tragedy as men and women would stand up to do their absolute best to help but they just didn’t know what to do or how to help, sadly. Very tragic situation for all involved and I’m terribly sorry you and your family had to and still have to carry that burden. 😢
By the power of stone hedge I say...Lets rock. LOL this was a really good story. The not rust reminded me of the martian hive mind slime mold story a little bit. Very creepy stuff. Well Done.
I love sleeping under the water. Getting my commercial dive license we had to spend some time under the water, and if you finish the task early enough, some of us would take a nap 😴
I've learned through scary stories, that if I ever get stationed out in the middle of nowhere, to immediately kill my superior as soon as I get there because there's a 99% chance they're evil.
I'm guessing he wasn't bright enough to figure out that the main character is a woman whose husband died, and instead of paying attention or exercise any critical thinking, just let their own fragile sense of sexuality tell them they were gonna catch "the gay".

That is just horrifying. I hope your family somehow escaped the mental anguish of those memories.
@@jannythewonderwomen2215 those kind words mean a lot and I’m glad there’s someone like you in the world to be so thoughtful

I've seen some things and I can't imagine the scars that left on your families minds.
I hope they healed
I like this narrator
And he writes a majority of the stories!
Damn, was hoping this was a new one. This is my favorite creepypasta genre.
I like the underwater/open sea related ones too.
this story is such an intense and emotional piece. FIVE STONES
Thank you so much Jordan for another episode of imagination theater.
The ending had me trying to visualize all the stones standing in a circle unbroken. Excellent storytelling!!! 👍
😊
By the power of stone hedge I say...Lets rock. LOL

I really enjoyed this one. Kudos to the author. Great narration as always, Jordan!
It would freak me out to stay underwater 😢

Just think of all that water above you!! And all the creatures around you. BBAAHHHWW
This sounds like the movie “Event Horizon “
Event Horizon under water + a little Stephen King “n”

👍👍 brilliantly splendid, this story was very entertaining and thrilling. I loved and enjoyed this story. Thanks Jordan 😇💖
A slight correction:
Katy's injury would lead to death in under a minute, not in a couple of minutes.
This is Awsome! Love this story. ❤
Explaining Riley'S depression..... and realize everything is the same... maybe I don't have as good of a hold on things as I thought

My name is Gremmy Thoumeaux, The Visionary and there are five stones. Perfect, strong and unwavering.
So, event horizon, but the women go first.... 😔...
That's what I thought! Event horizon, but under water and with female main character.
These Brits sound awfully Canadian.
Thanks Jordan!
This story took alot of inspiration from Event Horizon.

Getting serious Event Horizon vibes here.😳
List the best underwater movies.. go! 🎉
Once again, I'm claustrophobic not going down there. Sorry, not sorry😢
Octernorts !
I really hope this isnt the one with the worms that come from the corpse of a screaming whale at the bottom of a trench
I’m sorry but knowing that everyone is infected removes all tension from the story. It simply makes me wish that they were less stupid.
I know I'm dating myself but this guy sounds just like Marty Stouffer from the old wildlife show Wild America. 🤣😂
I’ll imagine 7 stones make it even stronger 💪😤
Event Horizon underwater
I mean seriously what's the difference between the bottom of the sea and the middle of space 🤙🖕🛸💪🤟
The pressure
Wats with the music!

What’s up with all this homosexual stuff?
Someone is insecure in their sexuality
What are you referring to? 🤔
I'm guessing he wasn't bright enough to figure out that the main character is a woman whose husband died, and instead of paying attention or exercise any critical thinking, just let their own fragile sense of sexuality tell them they were gonna catch "the gay".
Probably didn't wait long enough to hear the main character is female. Just long enough to know the main character had a dead husband.
Why does it bother you? Why do you care?
I usually stop listening if there is homosexual content
What homosexual content?

The main character is female there is absolutely no homosexual content here….
Are you afraid it's contagious or something? I assure you that's not how it works
@AmunDeus aww man..... so you mean all they gay guys I've been hanging out with (technically they were hanging out of me) isn't gonna make me gay????? Shucks
