Have I ever missed you!! So happy you and Saku are once again sharing a great adventure. No one narrates a film as well as Justin Barbour. Looking forward to your Friday night uploads. You the man!
Agreed! Nobody does explorer like you. This episode seemed like an easy leg in the journey! We all know that will change! Great job on filming and edits. I'm really proud of you Justin, you go down in my book of some of the greatest explorers. Thank you for wicked good entertainment. NL should buy some footage for tourism promotion, I know I sure want to visit now! Craig in Chicagoland USA
My favorite channel. A man and his dog on an adventure…countless adventures actually. I tip my hat you Justin, with envy. You have that pioneer spirit, true grit, and lust for adventure🍻your chocked full of it. Bravo to you and your finest mate, Saku.🍀🍄
Oh my - we have missed you and Saku terrible! This was awesome! Loved the caribou so much! Magical animals and never thought of them wandering along a beach! Tell Heather a big thank you - I am sure she is also a big help with the success of these trips!!! So looking forward to the rest of the series! Wonderful job! Thank you!
You go where literally nobody goes. Canadians and Americans visiting Newfoundland rarely go into the bush, and the locals stay concentrated in the coastal areas. The Newfoundland interior, outside Gros Morne anyway, is truly Wild. Thanks for bringing it to us, Justin and Saku.
The late Don Starkell would have admired you and your tenacity. He was my friend. He is recorded in the world record book for the longest journey by canoe, from Winnipeg to Belem Brazil. Afterwards paddling the northwest passage. I think you and he are cut from the same cloth. Thanks for sharing your adventures ✌️
I read Paddle to the Arctic. Not for the faint of heart that's for sure. Don was lucky to have survived that one. Don must have written about the trip to Balem and I'll have to get it. Made the trip with his sons I think.
I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I found out I would be able to catch up with you and Saku. I thought just before you mentioned that Saku was four years old, "What an experienced adventure dog he seemed to be." I remember when he would bark at every cast. I love your content.
Great to see you and Saku again Justin. Always anxious for more. The colour of the flesh of those trout geez. Lots of lovely wildlife, but that had to be the prettiest camp of all with the panoramic view of the lake. Unforgettable.
BREATHTAKING BEAUTY COLORS VIEWS SCENERY VIDEO WEATHER FOOTAGE LANDSCAPE & WILDLIFE ! GORGEOUS TROUT ! THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME TAG ALONG WITH YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY ! BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! GOD BLESS YOU BOTH 🙏 ALWAYS ON YOUR JOURNEYS ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨
I missed your adventures with Saku. Seeing the stag must have been beautiful. The scenery is so beautiful, thanks for bringing to everyone. Can’t express how much enjoyment I get out of your trips.
Love your videos and your lovely dog is a true campion. I somewhat feel like Travel a long just from watching your clips. Thanks from Austin Texas 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Even though I’m 3 days late for the new vid cause life’s been hectic, I’ve been dyin for the new series. Thank you sir! You guys be safe out there. This is gonna be so good!! Cheers from the west coast!
Oh my goodness! You’re back! My favorite utube channel by far! I absolutely love your videos and have missed them very much! Thank you so much from all your loyal fans and future loyal fans!!!
They might not know what a fishing lure is but they sure as hell know what a worm is! Man and dog on the land and soon Montreal and Toronto on the ice, been a long time since these two played a playoff game together. go habs go!
Morning, Justin... I sure have enjoyed these adventures. I'm still marvelling over the trip where you spotted the lynx in the bush on the shore. What a sight! I can almost smell those fish frying. Thanks, and take care...
Thank you and Saku for another wonderful trip into the wilds. It's been a while since I watched one. I love the new approach to brake it up into different videos. As it brings with it the anticipation for the next one.I can't wait to see it posted
Been waiting a looooooong time for this. Really missed you and Saku. You're canoe stuff is always so fun to watch. Makes me super excited for my overnight trip next weekend!
hi Justin years ago i glued rock climbing rubber soles to my teva sandles, they don't slip on anything i have found...thanks very much for taking us along...Yah bless...doug
I have enjoyed watching your video I know you have more which I will be watching Newfoundland is beautiful wish I could be there very beautiful my husband and I are from USA Michigan upper peninsula thank you for calling on these videos they are very beautiful can’t wait to watch another one
Great episode of NL's most intrepid modern Explorer and faithful water dog! The camera work and edits were sterling making it a Tourism promo quality video! The narration voice doesn't match your outside voice, maybe try doing that in a closet or small room? I'm no expert on studios, just the hardware and computers to do that stuff. I can't wait to see the challenges ahead because this episode only hit "trip to dog park" on the "Saku-meter" scale of rough and tumble I've seen you two do!!! Thanks again to both of you for this diversion from the monotony and pain of old and retired. It sparks youth and adventure in my soul.
Thanks for watching Craig and the feedback, happy to have you back - I'm interested in hearing an elaboration of the narration comment - do you mean the volume of my narrate voice doesn't match the volume of my outdoor voice? I'm self-taught at film creation and always striving to be the best. Sound editing is a tricky beast.
There's a great documentary on YT by RTE from Newfoundland in the 70s. The old folks had literally pure Irish accents though neither they nor their parents had ever seen Ireland. If I remember right, the channel is called CR's Video Vault. Well worth checking out!
@@NaCreagachaDubha The Irish accent is very strong in parts of Newfoundland. Most of us here are of Irish decent. The closer you get to the outports on the island, the stronger the irish accent.
This has made my weekend! I have been waiting for another one of yours and saks adventures! You two are great and bring joy to loads of us, keep exploring
Great job Justin! This is as Canadian as it gets! Love the music and rich history your videos bring to the table. A travel back in time to humble and simple beginnings. Keep em comin!
Now this is what you watch to get pumped up to my own trips this summer, great stuff! Question: The scar on the left side of the face near the temple looks fresh, is it from the planecrash?
For those precious dislikes, sorry this isn't your customary mall exploration video! Sometimes life outside is a little strange with all the fresh air and stuff! From the rest of us uncouth lovers of wilderness, thumbs up again J.B. keep them coming!
So weird, I just watched a documentary on cloud berries and I see you picking one right smack in the middle of this video, without a single mention of it, had to bring it up and point it out to everyone, 😆
for sure thye are delicious. I have highlighted them in past videos. Bakeapples we call them in Newfoundland & Labrador. All the best Hank thanks for watching
I love your videos, so much wild land that I would otherwise not be able to experience and you match it beautifully with relaxing music. Can;t wait for the next episodes. Be safe. Thank you.
Do you know what is refreshing about watching your adventures. You don't camp in your back yard and make 1/2 the video on how to light a fire with a flint and the other 1/2 of the video cooking something. Justin just lights the fire with a match or bic lighter and makes something to eat..... shows us briefly and moves on showing us camp and other things around him. Thank you for not making another cooking show.
Its good to see someone making videos showing Newfoundland's beautiful forest and wildlife
That sound of the rain falling on your tent when you are snug inside is one of the best feelings when camping.
Have I ever missed you!! So happy you and Saku are once again sharing a great adventure. No one narrates a film as well as Justin Barbour. Looking forward to your Friday night uploads. You the man!
Good video Justin and thanks for showing 👍👍
Wish I had more time between all the trips an editing to watch more of your vids but whenever I do I love it.
Thanks, Jim right back at ya buddy - grind in the office to get back out there. All the best buddy 🍻
Hi everybody. Wish everyone good health. I also have such activities to see how wonderful nature is.
