- Huge explosions have rocked Beirut - levelling multiple buildings in the city's southern suburbs. So far Lebanon's health ministry says at least two people are known to have died, with 76 others wounded and the numbers certain to rise.

Re: reporter's citing of international law and proportionality, where was the proportionality on October 7th when Hamas attacked Israel and killed 1200, mostly civilians? Was this same reporter quoting chapter and verse about law and proportionality then? I know today's bombing targeted Hezbollah rather than Hamas, but they are just slightly different flavors of the same terrorist evil.
