Sinclair BASIC can't address more than 16k RAM, so more than that is of very limited use. Maybe there is a replacement ROM? I remember an effort to do so, but I don't know if it was followed through to completion.
I think the 32KB can be accessed by machine code programs, or "HIRES" ones ... but it's something I need to look into. There's also something about copying the ROM to the higher RAM area for some reason ... ?

Love this series so far. First computer I bought with my own money was the ts1000. But that dam ram pack always came undone while I was typing.
That was so infamous that it was named in the UK "RAM pack wobble".
