I think this video makes it pretty clear that AI can never replace real singers. While they do sound vaguely familiar, even their best copy still can't match our Solar-unnie's soulful delivery and unique vocal 😌

This was so much fun! Even though I know I didn't hear all the details she could pick up about the differences, I was so happy to have gotten them all right. Sometimes it was just a feeling, but it must have been a feeling honed by countless listens.
Solar Gamsung part 8 was so heart touching. Both the songs are good & your voice is so soothing, like a calm breeze washing over all the worries, giving me peace & comfort. Seriously no machine or any AI can beat real Solar's voice! Our yong's singing is so good and her voice and technique and everything is so unique and distinct! i dont understand why AI imitating singer is needed... so conclusion is Solar pls sing more songs, we need your real sweet voice hahahaha

This may be a frivolous example, but I was really impressed by her ability to guess the song when they did the recorder game during the 9th anniversary video content. I feel these little examples give us a glimpse of her talent for song composition.
This was actually very easy for me to differentiate which was Yongsun's voice. I think 5th round was a bit difficult but it was still easy to tell which was real Yongsun voice. Ig that's bcoz I am listening to her voice for almost a decade😅. Yongsun, don't worry no matter how developed AI is your fans will always know your real voice bcoz AI's voice will never reach our hearts but your voice definitely will☺
Exactly, AI voices can never replace original singers… I’ve been listening to Solar’s voice for about 6 years, so there’s no way for me to not recognize her voice. I think AI can only vaguely reproduce singer’s voices and only trick people who are not familiar with them… I probably listened to almost every single media there is of Solar singing so I’m well familiar with her voice. But I remember watching some reactions to Honey and a lot of reactors said they were surprised/did not recognize Solar’s voice in the verses which was a big surprise for me lol

No one can replicate her voice, especially the nuances that are so unique to her. I loved both remakes in Part 8 so much, both are such great additions to the already amazing lineup of Solar Gamsung!! Both songs are so comforting to listen to. Also, I would love to hear her actually cover Event Horizon and Bam Yang Gang tho. ^^
I was surprised by how easily she got everything right. Since our voice resonates within our own body, we hear it in a different tone than others do. So, I thought it would be easier for someone else to get it right than for her herself.

This really was too easy to guess lol. The Mamamoo members have such unique styles and distinct tones that you can easily tell which one of them is real and which one is pseudo. But it's still a bit unsettling how similar these AI generated voices can be, even if they can't pay dust to Mamamoo's real vocals.

Maybe it’s because I listen to Solar’s voice so much, it’s easy to pick them out from the AI! The AI can’t capture the full beauty of Solar’s voice, the emotions, pitch and overall vibe is diff! I will admit tho, round 5 was the hardest by far.
