This is the type of revamp that the Eurofans are going to be skeptical at first but then get over and forget the original was even a thing.
There are some pretty different elements to the revamp but as soon as it's performed in Turin, this will be loved by fans. If we're going by the staging in FIK, this stage performance is going to be amazing. I mean, look at Shum last year. People complained a lot about the revamp - I was pretty disappointed at first - but we all got used to it and it got an amazing result.
She will perform it tomorrow at the Romanian national selection, can't wait to see it!

i will never forget the live version of the original song. It has my heart🥰
but i adore the revamp and it sounds a lot more professional and polished.

the song was a little messy for me before but with this revamp it shot up to my number one!! And Ronela is a performer so I can't imagine being disappointed in the live performance. Hoping Albania will get their first win!
It's still messy. Structure is all over the place. However ... I'll take anything with a pulse, as this is turning into the most depressing ESC in many years
@@Suspended4thYT i disagree. to my ears this is a round production now and esc-fied... but what i agree on is that it's gonna depressing - its reflected on a lot of songs this year - everything is darker
@@Suspended4thYT I think you're just having a bad mood, or you are into drama. She is braking records with views and is going viral all over the world. Everyone loving it. ESC has never had such a complete singer or different to say, a full package.
@@keineahnung8831 "Into drama" - where you getting that from? I just said that I still found it messy, but I still like it because at least it has some life in it. As opposed to the abundance of slow stuff elsewhere. Where's the drama in that?

Its an Albanian urban legend. She was a princess named Vjosa, (after the river also shown in the clip), living on that same castle. They killed her husband and she turned into a ‘dragon’ cursed the men and killed herself to reunite with him again. Women power is the main message 🥰
Albania is the DARK HORSE! She's pretty low in odds but in may with all the power that Ronela's live vocals have... She is gonna blow our minds! And there is an Albanian legend behind this for a powerful stage concept! 🇦🇱❤️🇪🇸
This was the ONLY song so far besides Italy to give winner vibes, we may be staying on the Adriatic Sea this year.
She has to win! I really don't know anybody else who can put on a show like she does. Maybe the main pop girlies from the USA but not in Eurovision.

The video has a powerful story behind, a legend very known in Albania. in the end she is transfer in a dragon or as we in Albania call “kucedra” 🐍🐉 a myscital creature whose name Vjosa as the river she shows in the video. Some other clips are from the Argjiro castle where the princess husband was killed and she to protect hereself from the enemy jumped off the castel. in her video shes shower of women sama as in this two stori , Ronela believes in destiny and as in the video her love was killed , she had the opportunity to meet him again and thats the part in the beginning when she sees the man and feels a connection.

first time listening I was a bit disappointed with the drop, but if you listen to it a couple times you get used to it and it's actually really good. overall a good revamp, the song definitely became more cohesive than it was before.
this also happened with ukraine’s song in 2021 , everyone was disappointed with the revamp but then they got used to it and started liking it so much
but the original drop was kept and it's still in the second part of the song. I don't get why people thought there was something off with it:)))
Took a while for Albania to send a BOP. This year alot of countries I don't usually enjoy are bringing it. Albania and North Macedonia in particular surprised me in the best way.

She deserves a Top10 position, she's my Top3 recently. The mix of English and Spanish in the prechorus is putting me kinda off, but it's still really good.

@@zanabanci1943 Yeah it changed - last year 4 songs out of top 5 were in native languages (that happened in the 90s for the last time). And also look at the Albanian qualification strike for the last few years:
2016 - in English - NQ
2017 - in English - NQ
2018 - in Albanian, Q
2019 - in Albanian, traditional instruments - Q
2021 - in Albanian, traditional instruments - Q
2022 - Albanian/English, traditional instruments - will qualify (I wound be shocked if not)
They're just doing well in terms of qualifying to the grand final with sending songs in Albanian with traditional instruments and I'm loving it ❤

Yeah, sounds great, albeit a little messy, maybe they could have kept a little bit more vocal and a little bit less of the instrumental in this shortened version, but otherwise it's still great
If you watch Ronela Hajati in any live performance, you will notice she LOVES to dance and play with the camera. I'm 100% convinced she knows what she's doing and they kept the instrumental to give her time to dance.
She will most likely have some insane effects on stage + a difficult choreography. This is the only way you can perform this type of music live.

Ronela confirmed the showing the stage by 4 Italian dancers , Klaudia pepa Albanian dancer and ronela . The show is not going to be what we saw on festivali kenges , and also not the concept from the music video it’s going to be very different and very new .
The production is great. The only little drawback is the lyrics. We got English, Albanian and a word in Spanish and it took a few times for me to figure out what she was talking about. In saying that, Ronela still has my 10 points.
I was hoping that they would 'un-mess' it but it still sounds messy imo😅 it's not bad or anything, just wish it had a clean production. Not sure if we really needed these random Spanish words thrown in either.

I liked the original more than the revamped version - prob because I’ve listened to the original at least 80 million times. I can’t put my finger on it, but there is some in the original that is missing from the revamp. All that said, I’m sure that I’ll get used and love the new version.
I need a new revamp mixing the old and the new version 😬……sung in 100% albanian if at all possible.
i still love it, but i always find it so unneccessary to use english lyrics when the switch from english to the native language is so sudden and quick, that my brain doesn't even have the time to register that english is used. it's probably different for native english speakers but i only realized right before she switched back to albanian. she could have just left the chorus in english, that would have been enough
Agreed. The English lyrics just takes me out of the moment. I like it but not 100% sold.
