Lisbon is injured but she is still there for Jane. She is his emotional rock (giving him hope when he felt hopeless) and physically stronger than him on many levels (saving him from danger and being the first person he sees when he emerges from the blindness, the drowning, from prison). They both became yin yang for each other.
awww they are deeply in love with each other , it took alot of season but now in season 6 is more obvious, they cant deny it anymore , at least to themself... so cute, i cant wait for them to kill RJ and start getting in there! #Jisbon!
God, I WISH they would just make it more obvious like they do with Rigsby and Van Pelt! A longer look maybe, JEALOUSY over a flirtatious third person! SOMETHING GOOD!:P:P I ADORE these two and they DESERVE a romantic relationship, damnit!:):):P
@Ferolious These are 2 great main characters, so you usually love both of them and then you want them to love each other. I don't know why it is like that, but it happens often in tv. It's a good question.
@Ferolious Ok, that's your opinion. And I think you are right, in The Mentalist there aren't many indications. Maybe some little ones, but they could be interpreted differently. I love romances, but I don't know if Jane and Lisbon would be perfectly together. I'm not sure.

Sure! But it's clear they love each other. whether platonic or not, they may get together later. Maybe they'll try and find they are not the right person for each other. It's unbelievable neither wonders though. Heller says they think about each pother in bed and love each other the path is there.. he is setting a romance. if it lasts or fails no idea.
I like these two characters very much but i don't think they are at the "love" stage of their relationship yet. maybe subconsciously they do feel some attraction but neither one realizes nor acknowledges those feelings (i think Jane doesn't realize and Lisbon refuses to acknowledge...lol)

Those fans were nuts. Didn't she lie for Bosco after he killed a suspect? Never made sense others had her get high in her morality when she is helping Jane find RJ for years and get revenge.
I love this theory! It would be REALLY shocking and sad at the same time. Jane would be so heartbroken and betrayed by the person whom he trust the most :(
@@sarahmcay7706 I'm sure it was that Lisbon was RJ. So lazy, cliche, a cop-out. So many of us rewatch the show many times, finding nuggets that converge in the finale. Shock endings like that would've make us all lose interest. It's part of the reason why Game of Thrones is not talked about anymore. A few seconds of shock at the expense of 100+ episodes.
