Awesome city. I've lived here for 26 years. Quite safe too...have never felt in danger, even in the so-called notorious Eisenbahn Strasse. The extreme lefties won't bother you if you don't do or say anything stupid to any them. Relatively few neo-nazis here, but definitely don't go near them. Loads of art and music here, both old and new. Cool areas to hang out in are the Karli (mostly for tourists these days) and Plagwitz and Lindenau where you'll find lots of cool and avant garde or underground scenes. PS...you should have included the main train station which is said to be the most beautiful in Europe, and maybe a view from the Panorama tower. But, well done
Are there any neighborhoods you would recommend to not live in? I am wanting to move to Leipzig. I know Eisenbahn Strasse is bad. What are some good ones?
Eine sehr gute Idee, leider aber mit Texten zugemauert. Ich bin Leipzigerin, kann es aber leider nicht zu ende schauen, wegen der Texte, die alles verdecken. Schade um den großen Aufwand. 😢
@@misternaem2103 I would say that the historic center is quite safe. But districts like Connewitz are not. Its an area with lots of far left radical groups living in, that watch everyone entering. Unfortunately our government is far left themselves and they dont do anything about it. Stay away from these areas and you are safe. Bikes get stolen anywhere in Germany unfortunately nowadays, even in small villages.
@@misternaem2103 I don’t know where you come from but „unsafe“ in Germany would still be considered safe in most other countries of the world. I mean, the unsafest German city would be the safest in the USA
