Women's Volleyball Tournament between Polish and French National Teams (To Strengthen Preparations for the Paris Olympics) - Game 1
Held on the occasion of the "Agata Mróz-Olszewska Memorial 2024".
In about 1 week we will start the Olympics in Paris, where the volleyball players, assigned Poland, will take part.
In the last few weeks we have learned about the Olympic tournament groups.
Agata Mróz-Olszewska Memorial is a friendly tournament dedicated to the memory of the Polish national volleyball player, two-time European champion (2003, 2005), who died in 2008. The first edition was held in 2009. In most editions, club teams competed in inside. The previous anniversary held in 2023 was won by ŁKS Commercecon Łódź.
The Polish national team already has one win under its belt, thanks to Tuesday's 3-0 victory over the Dominican Republic.

In their second match, the White and Reds played against the French. However, the difference in levels was visible from the first balls. The Polish team started the match successfully (5:1) and maintained their advantage in the following actions, although they made mistakes in the service area (10:6). Then, two series of points were won by the Polish team. After two aces by Martyna Czyrniańska, the hosts were leading 19:10. Five more points by the Polish team closed the set, and in the last actions, the opponents made mistakes (25:11).
