I love how you guys also appreciated the absolute pain in Shoto's face and voice, especially when he was screaming for his father to protect his friends. I can't imagine the amount of shock and the agony of the re-opening of old wounds that he was feeling in that moment.

I knew about this reveal because I had heard the fan theories early on, so it wasn't a surprise, but it was still PEAK! I'm excited to see where the Todoroki plotline goes in the next season

To be clear this was hinted at before: Back during the camp raid in season 3, Dabi called Todoroki "Shoto" in a familar way right as they were leaving, and when Snatch (the sand hero that fought the League when they cut off Overhaul's hands), he asked Dabi if he ever thought about the "Families heroes leave behind" when they're killed, and Dabi responded "Yeah, I think about it so much it almost kills me" when he recalls it later after confronting Endeavor after the Hi-End Nomu fight where
This is actually the first time I saw people not react just when Dabi revealed his true hair color and his real name Toya. But still, when you guys finally realized it, you're all shook haha.

I have binge watched MHA this past week and now I’m at season 6 which is by far the best. I knew I loved Dabi’s voice and then I read he also voices Zenitsu’s in Demon Slayer. The reveal, the speech…just peak anime!
Shimono Hiro did such an amazing job
He also voices Connie in AOT which is wow!
Imagine voicing both Dabi and Zenitsu. This man has insane range.
Shimono hiro has some great range in his voice acting he absolutely nailed this sequence yes he is the one who voices zenitsu
I did figure out/suspect this “plot twist” very early on. There are lots of little hints if you ever rewatch. Plus one of the villains had to be connected to a hero, it’s just too classic a plot line to not include. I though since I already knew, the reveal wouldn’t be all that special but this episode was so hype anyway major props to the mangaka
Lot of shade being thrown in these comments… they can call whatever anime they want to ‘peak’ maybe they are referring the episode itself being peak in regards to the whole show. Either way let them enjoy it instead of spitting your opinions on them. Also the people asking why the whole show isn’t on UA-cam… you didn’t listen to the explanation? They’ve been having trouble with copy right claims as it is, they have to save certain shows for Patreon so they can actually make a living and continue to give us reactions

I can understand having some shows that are simply Patreon exclusive. That being said, I will be doing an analysis for one of the most iconic episodes in the series. To most people, they probably already knew or guessed about Dabi's true identity. But the execution of this plot point was masterful.

Little side note, in the manga, Toga never explains the big thing about Jin. Which is why Ochako is so confused. Because she's not exactly sure why she's talking to her. But she instantly regrets shutting her down once she sees that she was crying. And it pushes her to question why Toga was upset. Which is why the anime having Toga mention her reason for being upset last episode kinda takes away from Ochako's confusion and trying to understand Toga. Toga does love Ochako the same way she loves Stain and Izuku. So essentially, one of her crushes didn't get what she was trying to convey. Which has to suck.
When this reveal happened in the manga, it actually out trended the literal US election. Dabi is built different.
Also, it's really funny how Shigaraki gave that speech a few episodes ago about how heroes will destroy their families and Endeavor completely ignored him. Only for one of the biggest examples of him being selfish and destroying his own family to appear. Endeavor is trying to improve, yes. But that doesn't mean his past actions just go away. He added fuel to that poor boy's flames and then tossed him aside once he realized he wasn't the perfect child he wanted to create. And now, Touya will reduce everything to ash. Him and Skeptic pulled through with the tag team of the century.
Dabi’s voice in dub here was INSANE 😳😨🔥 the prominence burn was so crazy
i fully believe Dabi was gonna kill Endevor, Todoroki and himself with that "prominence burst". theres no way he can handle the heat he was gonna make.
I've watched so many reactions to this and I feel like only a couple people have put together that he was literally going to kill himself too in that moment
It's kinda confirmed in the manga now that he was indeed going for a murder-suicide, aiming to kill himself, his family (especially Endeavor and Shoto) and others who just happen to be near enough
(At 11:39) It's not JUST "his father's image" he's ruining.
The most obvious „Plot Twist“ in Anime

Both the reveals are in a war.
The person revealed themselves to be someone who died a long time ago as a child.
And even down to the spilt face down the middle with kakashi and obito but in dabis reveal its Endeavour and shoto
It wasn't a plot twist for the viewer. He made it obvious for us.

I don’t think it was meant to be such a crazy plot twist. I think everyone was mostly waiting for the reveal more than anything

I feel like a lot of the fandom and manga was the main reason it was so predictable. and it was not as much as a plot twist than it actually should have and deserved to be.
tbh a lot of casual fans who watched the show and didn't engage in the fandom too much didn't see this twist coming which is totally understandable. With enough analysis, it is a smooth connection to guess this plot twist-- but that's what makes it a good plot twist. It didn't come out of nowhere.

However I do not understand how in the world I didn’t see the traitor reveal coming looking back it was so obvious the hints were there- still a good plot twist too. Also Touyas whole reveal to the public and dance was epic
