Iirc, Deadpool being cursed with life meant he was unable to stay dead as long as a fragment of his physical form remained. Since his healing factor is comparable to Hulk's or Logan's pre-Adamantium, that renders him effectively immortal. As long as there's even one cell of Deadpool remaining in existence, his healing factor kicks in and brings him back.
Again, I'm not sure how accurate this is, it's just how I remember it being explained.

His healing factor can't bring him back from a cell like Wolvie. He died when he was just a hand. The curse made him immortal, not the healing factor.
He's regenerated from cells before. Even from a drop of blood. Mind you. Post thanos cock blocking
Akumuvirus Sorry this is old, but that had wasn’t his original hand, it was but it wasn’t, it got cut off, and he grew that hand back, so that hand in the coffin was an “extra” dead hand. Comics I read, he carries it with him randomly sometimes to flip people off lol
Pre-curse chop off and separate the head, he's still just flesh and blood with high regeneration. Post curse you'd probably need to drop him into a volcano. If I remember correctly wolverines last drop of blood needed an energy source to start regeneration. With just a drop of blood left, Deadpool would probably have to live as a single celled organism for a significant amout of time to be able to "come back".

Based on this story I have long argued that Deadpool's survivability is greater than that of Wolverine. Wolverine can die, it's just really really hard to kill him(and technically shouldn't age but somehow is shown to anyway), but Deadpool? Nothing should be able to, short of I suppose magical means. I suppose the Devil's sword could stop him from regenerating though.
I wrote up a scenario a while back buried in a quora comment thread based on this: Even if you threw Deadpool into a black hole (which, "The Spot", most powerful underrated character of all time could easily do) he still wouldn't die. He'd be absorbed into the black hole, which is really a super fast implosion followed by an explosion that just appears to last for a very long time in super slow motion from the outside due to time differentiation. From the inside he'd just notice himself getting sucked in, then a very very long time later after the black hole has sufficiently evaporated he'd end up regenerating, floating in space. Then he'd probably find a time machine (since the future has time machines in comics) and go back to right after he left. Then, since it would be a Deadpool story, The Spot would probably keep throwing him into the black hole and he'd keep coming back in multiples. Eventually you'd have a Blackhole Pool. Would be a crazy story, but totally reasonable given the character attributes.

He was cursed with a longer life not an eternal one, its a weird thing but once you read all the comics it starts to make sense, or if you ever asked stan lee(rip) he would have told you, deadpools healing factor kept him alive even longer but thanos made it so deadpool can not die before thanos does.

I know you're probably getting sick of all the Deadpool requests you probably get, but you should do the arc from Agent X where they finally get the real deadpool back. It has some fun, and incredibly childish interactions between the two
When I say the real Deadpool, I mean exactly that, the REAL Deadpool. And how can you in one moment ask what I mean about that, while at the same time asking me to never mention it, thereby making it impossible to answer your question? In Agent X, which I will mention as much as I like, as I enjoyed it, and this was my comment to begin with, everyone thought that Agent X was actually Deadpool, though altered somehow, as he had similar skills and powers. Turns out, Agent X was created in the battle at the end of the previous Deadpool series when he, Deadpool, and I believe it was Black Swan, were caught in an explosion that mixed their abilities. Well, at the end of Agent X, they got the real Deadpool back, and figured out who Agent X actually was. Hence all my comments about the real Deadpool.

Thanos knows Deadpool can die if all of his cells are destroyed so he can’t regenerate but Deadpool doesn’t know that so deadpool is imortal but he can die like by going into the sun killing all of his cells and him unable to regenerate

Deadpool vs Thanos and subsequently Deadpool vs the universe itself are the story arcs you're looking for where the cosmos kidnaps and imprisoned Death herself and Deadpool and Thanos team up to fight the entity known as the cosmos or whatever, Deadpool and Thanos lose and Thanos removes Deadpool's curse. The entity known as 'life' basically gives Deadpool a type of power cosmic and it all goes sideways from there. I'll stop there because it's a good read and I don't want to totally spoil it.
