Soon, Gabi has problems with her inner child. Throughout the show she was, in her own way, a good mother to Juanita. Things are more complex.

At this point in the shower Juanita ( the dog girl) overheard the conversation and found out and is starting to notice how her mom is becoming more sentimental over her technically biological child and how they’re more like each other.
It's so obvious that Grace is actually Gabby's daughter, they look so alike. Although I do feel terrible for Juanita I can understand the natural bond that Gabby would have with Grace biologically.

She figures, Grace is beautiful, and as Gabby said, you'll grow up to be beautiful and find a rich guy just like her. Juanita without Gabby and her husband wouldn't have any of the opportunities she has if she ever decided to take her back
