The boy when he says he should hv problem with her , but still he is compromising, that sentence shows how selfish he is. It hurts a lot to here such words. No one is asking him to compromise, he should love her unconditionally. Not prove that he is great and perfect for her. She should also feel same for him

After 30 years madve aadre, pregnancy complications thumba iratthe. My friends are examples. They struggled to get baby. According to me marrying before 30 years is better. Just told mu opinion. I am 30 years old and i have a 5 year old son. Very healthy pregnancy. Now planning for another one😀

Marriage is one's own choice. Respect your Daughter. She has her own life to live and not the parent's. She has to be treated like a human. The society too should realise this. All dad's make your daughter your close friend and stand by her decision. You can discuss the pros n cons with your daughter, but respect her decision. She is here to experience her life, help her to.

Sindhu Loknath Kudos! This is a much needed film. I am thoroughly impressed with the premise. Marriage does not define a woman's ( or man's) life. Age too does not matter. Do what you love to do and when the time comes and you find the right partner you can choose to make a life together. Getting married because of pressure from others is not the answer to anything.

I understand the good intention and acknowledge the effort put into the short film and its intended message of not falling into societal pressures and settling early in life, to be independent and to choose ones life on ones own, which is especially important to women folk,...
BUT this sends loads of unintended wrong messages to today's society which could easily fool a youth hothead who lacks life experience.
1. First stop portraying parents as villains, even though in most cases they overact, they are among the fewest of people who can take a bullet for you, they say what they say because they think its best for you and because they care for you.
2. "I am not ready and I do not know when I am going to be ready"..... if someone has no plan of marrying then its fine do whatever you want, but if you have a plan of starting a family then you must understand that you can't do it whenever you want. Your youth clock is ticking away, your options lowering, and there is a horrible danger of your kids having to see their parents getting old, in their early age, which could be psychologically scarring for them for their life, all because of your immaturity, your failure to mature and to get yourself together.
3. One main reason for I am not ready is because of "Career", it's a sad truth where we tie our career achievements with our fulfillment of life. It's again career versus family, make your choice
4. And I see this in many films and serials, that cancelling marriage last minute and showing it as an act of heroism and making fun of people waiting in marriage hall, then followed by stereotypical freedom speech, is just blatantly wrong. Of course it takes guts do such a thing, but you must realize its just not your life, your fiance would also have dreams which he/she would have garnered for years waiting for this day and your parents and your fiance's parents would have flowery dreams, if you are going to do cancel it, atleast be apologetic about it

The woman's refusal to get married reflects the mindset of the modern, educated and financially secure woman, who wants to take charge of her life and make own choices without bowing to societal pressure. The earlier the parents accept this reality and allow their daughter to make her own decisions, the better it would be for the entire family and society in general.
The film's strong feminist undertone cannot be missed. It is nice to know that Sindhu has written the story. Though her acting is okay, her voice is not forceful and lacks conviction and fails make an impact. Too much use of English is disappointing....the same ideas can be expressed in kannada more effectively. The film is like a whiff of fresh air for someone tired of watching silly romantic shorts. Thanks for a sensible film.

BS, She was pushed to this state by a man who ditched her at the last minute and she is doing the same for another guy? this is not gender equality, this is reverse patriarchy... Here was a man who was willing to give everything for her, actually he is the modern, educated and secure man.
The film is about her......not him! It is about the woman's right to live her life the way she wants.
To say that she refused to get married only to take some sort of revenge on another guy is far-fetched. The fear of one more heartbreak , rather than desire for revenge, is the reason behind her refusal. The guy, on the other hand, instead of understanding her state of mind and dispelling her fear, started professing his love for her in a patronising tone, which no woman with self-respect would accept.

She might be doing what most of the "main stream" actresses aren't doing(whatever might be the reason). But that doesn't make her the "finest actress"(I'd even argue she isn't even a "good" actress).

It's not just the parents and society who trouble the girl for getting married by 30... It's also the grooms... They need a well earning, but young bride... An independent girl, but needs to take care of the family (and no sign of independent behaviour of themselves!!)... A along with an unending list of requirements. And they have the least of the qualifications to demand them!!
