All these tricks can be purchased from The Magic Emporium Delhi, Honestly this is outrageous. I saw some superb magicians on Indian tv except they were all ripped of from David Copperfield. So they can do it in India.
I admit parts of the act are a bit hokey but overall it is colorful and well thought out presentation, why all of the negative comments?? I guess people would rather see the bogus camera tricks and plants that modern day illusionists use.
Thank you for demonstrating classics of magic, apparently most of the comments below are out of jealousy.

OMG! OMG! OMG! What else could be said about this self declared best magician of the world? Maybe another occupation perhaps?
having just a few props, will not make the magic. communcation with the audience and charisma.. is the key. it is not so much what you do BUT how you do it. The old timers knew it all... they had galons of experience, not in doing tricks so much, BUT on how entertain an audience! still, keep working sr., litlle b litlle, one gets better. criticism will help you develop and grow on your skills as a performer. good work :)

Who ever recorded and uploaded this titled it "Best magician of the world"....I don't think the actual magician claims that title. In fact you can see in the video that he is telling the person shooting the video to stop.
This is admittedly grand since he has inherited the show from his grandfather and father. There is choreography, numerous assistants and the larger than normal props look proprietary. Look at the Square Circle production, it is custom made although the outer box is not obviously see through (which is what makes the trick work), so it could have been built better. The bird cages produced are also custom as far as i can tell because I have not seen those cages in any Indian magician dealers catalogue.
The assistants are practiced. Especially the older ones look extremely comfortable and their confidence add an air of professionalism to the whole thing.
The comments before me throwing shade at this show saying this is a roadside display, kids birthday party magic, Penn and Teller, David Copperfield etc. are just saying that out of spite BECAUSE the title claims this is the best magician of the world. This is NOT the best magician of the world....far from it. A title change by the uploader would really help this video and the magician in the video.
But still, in comparison to a standard magic show, this is a lot bigger, better and grandiose. Which other magician in India will have such big props and colourfully uniformed assistants milling about making everything practically illusion sized performances?
This is what magic used to be during the time of PC Sorcar senior (50s, 60s). He performed during the time of Okito, Blackstone, Milbourne Christopher etc. The shows of his contemporaries have vanished - their heirs have sold off the props. But I am glad that this family is continuing the magician legacy. Magicians today perform on tik tok, zoom calls, youtube and try to make money revealing tricks. They are alright in their place, but I still get a sense of awe watching this show right here.
A few things I do not like are that he does not seem to have any modern tricks, or at least an old trick with modern twists. Even that artwork on the props look amateurish. There has to be at least SOME evolution. Also, his claim that PC Sorcar senior was the first to use animals on stage? I do not think that is true at all. Such over the top worship should be avoided. Sorcar senior is greatly respected in India, but he was just one of the well known magicians in the world back then....maybe not even in the top 10.
And also the echo is so annoying. That could have been lowered.
I remember my first time playing with reverb...verb...verb....

With due respect to Mr Sorcar's skills in magic, his show is at best amateurish. If he really wants to make it in the list of top magicians, he should first pit his skills against middle level Western magicians, and then, if he makes the grade, against the best in the world like David Copperfield.
...no need to pay respect to his magic skills. There are none. Those tricks are beginner level. I could do them (I'm a beginner refusing to practice). The only one with talent was the lady in the box and that jerk stole her applause.

All of the comments are so angry mean. I like seeing old classics of magic. Magic was not always about blowing minds. Its color spectacle movement. These tricks were around before CGI, TV, or Movies. They were the first special rffects shows. Its like a magic history show. Who cares if you know how it works. Modern audiences are spoiled brats. Anybody creating any kind of art I give credit to. Easy to tear down and destroy.
Actual the stage of magic goes to a very another level, I mean very high standard but this show fail to entertain, so try to change everything if you demand a magician

PC Sorcar was one of the best magician in India. But this guy is a ghatiya magician i have ever seen.
