I agree. As an artist myself who absolutely loves music, AI makes the video look lazy when an AI does it, rather than an artist who puts their love, care, and soul into the piece. Full length videos with actual artists doing the art just make the musician look like they actually care about the video itself and not just the song, therefore adding maximum flavor and love to the song and video. I mean how would you feel as a musician after you have spent years, for some people half their life, learning how to make music and making music for people to enjoy just for people to put words into a machine or something equally fast, lazy, and free and posting the creation on UA-cam? It's sad and I'm disliking the video due to this...song's cool though.
Accidentally stumbled across this band on Spotify and I'm just completely obsessed with their songs. It is simply AMAZING, all the lyrics, the melodies travel through my body, I can't stop listening to it, IT IS SO GOOD
Never encountered y'all before, this came up on shuffle and I'm blown away. The animation is gorgeous, love how nebulous everything is as it shifts like the sea. The song of course is great, with crystal clear vocals and just the right amount of instrumentation - never overwrought, always sparse enough to sound lonely. And I'm obsessed with the lyric, "barely any scars left from the good old days." It's been so, so long that even the scars, even the best memories, the legends, are gone to dust. Amazing.
This song specifically helped me round out a pirate captain I'm playing in a TTRPG campaign about a flooded world. Your songs hit a very niche chord in my brain and pretty much every character playlist has one of your songs on it
This song makes me think of several famous ships of war that now are peaceful videos on the sea exploring feeds. Dad was a submariner, grandad was on a heavy cruiser. I appreciate a lot that you saw these old wrecks and came up with something other than a song about their glory in battle.
