To everyone whining about triggered drums - yes triggers CAN be used to compensate for lack of strength by making weak hits sound at full volume, but I don't think George has that issue. Look up any of Nile's rehearsal videos (or better yet, go see George at a drum clinic!) and you'll hear for yourself his kicks are just as hard with/without the triggers on. It's *all* about cramming more sound into the right ranges to keep the drums from sounding muddy in a live venue or loud recording.
This is some of the most technically challenging metal being made, and when watching hem live, not having the "bells and whistles" that a lot of other metal bands have doesn't matter one bit.

If I do understand then it may just be because they're not a flashy kind of band. They concentrate on what they're playing in order to give the crowd the best live experience of their songs that they can.
I saw them live twice, i meet them all twice (well, once at a signing session) na all i can say is that those guys rule. They're so nice, they are happy that people support them and they will take their time to talk to you. As far as playing is concerned.. they play insanely fast and there's not much you can do when you have to play their stuff of 250bpm these guys put all the time they got into that and they make metal a whole better genre
watching NILE lives just breaks my heart (((( i had tickets to see them in istambul but they didnt show up (the whole gig was cancelled ) one of the biggest disappointment in my life i wanted to see MY fav band live Sooooo badly (( hope will have chance again

If he is useing triggers(and I dont think he is) we could say, he sucks at it. Other then that,he is a truly great drummer seen him have beter days thou. Hes not having a good night, hes skipping half of what he should be doing on the double bass on some key songs.

They have some killer songs but have went to far over the top as hate eternal has. The shut just all runs together. Suffocation keeps the style the same and every album is a classic. Ready for the new one!!!
Я так понял бочки на ударной установке триггерами снимали так как звук бочек синтетический, однообразно долбёжный (человек так не играет , просто триггер не снимает громкость и хлёсткость удара, а лишь передаёт сам факт удара на семплер и звук воспроизводится каким либо семплом) и кроме kick drums в ударной установке ничего чётко не слышно - лишь в общих очертаниях.
i love george's drumming,but i like actual singing,to me thats what makes all death metal sound alike. theres alot of good musicans with horrible vocalists. i understand the vocal style of death metal but what about carcass and at the gates,ect? now i can deal with that.
I'd say it's pretty difficult to choose. Karl is pretty tight also, he is more of a "makes-it-look-easy" type of player, while Dallas is more stylistic and badass-looking

ok first of all im entitled to my opinion and like i said im a huge fan of george,or did yalls brain not pick up on that,and besides its not the best quality either.and i also said there are talented bands with horrible vocalists,which is true with alot of bands. i like the music but those cookie monster vocals give it that typical death metal sound. just like with the band rush,they are awesome but geddys vocals can make ya cringe at times.
