ZT is the worst knife manufacturer ever!!! Let me tell you what I mean... They are amazing fidget knives ,no doubt about that but only until you actually going to use it as a tool.. The steel performance is horrible ,all austenite is retained during really amateurish heat treatment and the other thing is the radius on the tang of the knife that causes the knife to fail lock and that's across the board with all models and one of those knives cause me really bad injury when the lock failed on me so those 2 issues are enough to keep this shit knives out of my pocket.. Plus the ridiculous moto "build like a tank" with all the videos proving opposite is just horrible.. ZT as a brand will hopefully bankrupt cause they are cheating customers with their marketing hype but when it comes down to it, the ZT 20cv/m390/204p is humiliated by Ruikes 14c28n.. I don't want to spoil your satisfaction but you should accept the ZT knives for what they are... LAUGHABLE CRAPS MADE TO LOOK GOOD BIT PERFORM UNDER THE LEVEL OF 30$ COMPETITION KNIVES!!!!!!!🎄 Marry Christmas anyway to you!!!

Thanks Rick, we wound up reading later that Microtech wound up suing them about the Natrix, and somehow patched things up a little, we dont know how much but atleast with that lawsuit. We are so excited for the future of the channel and we are gonna be doing a gaw very soon, thank you for always watching our videos
I'm coming to this video and remembering this issue. Microtech is bringing back the Matrix, just saw the Microtech video on UA-cam a few minutes ago. I'm a ZT fan and own the 0777M390 VERSION but the new Matrix looks cool.

They are both very cool, I think I’d prefer the ZT only because it’s smaller of the two. I don’t like huge knifes and like you said the bareknuckle is the perfect size for most people.

Big Bore Knife & Gear me too! When I saw and it and even checked the specs I was like ... is there natrix mini that I just got ? It’s small , but fits four fingers for me so I kept and I actually really really like it... just wish it came sharper from factory and I don’t like sharpening D2 much. Got a badass patina on it now.
Very entertaining! I remember laughing when Kershaw named their knife “ The Natrix “ . It took months to become available and all the while everyone knew that they were referring to Microtech being a snake in the grass. A natrix is a grass snake lol. You know it’s not a proper battle without some name calling! lol 👍 God bless
Something I found on the natrix copper, is that I can actually kick it out with a flick. I think jarred can too- if you get a nail right under the edge of the fuller groove, it will kick out. And it’s easier to do towards the tip, as the force required, is much less than trying to kick it out near the pivot. Just a tip! I open mine like that over the tiny tab that can feel biting sometimes. Love the knife and it literally rides around with me in a case leather on my belt as an aux blade constantly (for when my friend needs to use a knife and wants to make the cut on their own ... no you’re not borrowing my custom pocket knife even though I carry it and use it ... I trust my friends.... I juts don’t trust them with my knives). Love my natrix. Been meaning to add this comment since it came out, and I felt like it might rekindle a fire with the knife. I don’t get tired of knives and the appeal doesn’t go away, it only gets bigger, like with a personal relationship. I grow my memories and my times with a knife and I like them more and more each time I use them. I hope that the same can be said for the natrix for anyone who didn’t know about the spydie flick 🤷🏻♂️.
I know i didnt know that or learn that I could do that until just recently. It definitely adds to the cool factor for sure and like you said its even easy than the other deployment. Im surprised i haven't seen more people doing or showing it.
When you guys showed it, and said that you couldn’t, I assumed it was because my hands are on the small/medium side, but I keep my nails so short for playing guitar, that I figured anyone else that doesn’t cut their nails every two days must have a better chance at this ! It’s so buttery smooth - that fuller looks so darn good on that almost “kiritsuke” kitchen knife profile, but it’s even better when it serves two purposes. It’s such a well built knife too. I have very few kershaws that I don’t just check out and gift- that one is a keeper and now I want the XL and the large tbh. You guys rock. I talk about knives with all of my other hobby friends, and very few won’t let me even see the word “knife” without telling me shut up. I need to start a Chanel. I send recordings to Chris Gonzales and big Jeff Goodenow every single day about knife stuff and they’re both a lot like us. We need out on this stuff. My friend told me that you wouldn’t care much - I told him he had to be a knife nerd to know how important it is, and that others need to know 😂😂🤷🏻♂️ you guys get me lol.
Both of those knives are incredible and definitely some of my favorite edc blades, that blade shape is just so useful for edc, and were gonna be doing a gaw very soon for our 1k so get in it you just might win there's gonna be a bunch of prizes

Here now haven't seen it, zt is good at American made clones very good, its becoming more common place now(protech, ferrum forge, sng, emmerson protech makes auto versions though under license) zt makes allot of mass produced hinderers sinkovich and others.
Owned them both, 3 of the ZT versions. The microtech was better all around, I just hated the claw logo lol. Also microtechs 30k carbon fiber is hard to beat. Congrats on the subs!
If you like that blade shape then you know who really does it best and kinda was the first to design that shape? Ken Onion, the way he does it there is an ever so slight recurve just at the tip of the blade and man do they capture and cut material like no other...
That is so true and now that you say that i do remember Ken Onion doing this blade shape years ago even some what on some knives still today kind of like the leek maybe not as pronounced but still. Zt kershaw is really good at usa made clones especially midtech to upper range knives, hinderer, sinkovich and tons of others, yes now they license the design but this could have made them allot of money on both sides If they had worked together marfione or kershaw could have done the same thing hinderer has done mass produce a very good licenced american made clone. This reminds me allot of the cryo, 652, xm-18, same exact structure natrix, 700 series, matrix.
Bro you have mentioned kershaw knives a couple times recently pointing out their "good ones" and you must have forgot about the knockout which is a sub frame lock also lol I have a black Sandvik one and a blue m390 and the m390 one is soooo damn thin and slicey I love it... Also the link is a great knife in m390 or 20cv anytime you can buy a very premium blade folder for under $100 ya better damn well do it and it could turn out to be a great knife... Can't say I have owned the non-premium versions of any the others they offer in good steels

As far as Anthony marfione goes, the whole “challenge” bullshit goes out the window the second he started selling the matrix for profit . Screw him. He seams like a weasel IMO. Kershaw did us all a favor by removing another microtech from our news feed . I bet Anthony got out his shine box and shined one of those matrix’s up and stamped his silly high end logo on it and added 800$ to the price tag.

I do have a knockout and love the knockout Ive hard used one until its now on its last leg and its been in many videos the knockout is a great knife

Anyway, I agree about stuff being over priced, but man that's everywhere, Microtec has to pay high prices just as we do, plus all the government makes employers pay for and do just to be a business, that y alot of people move thier companies to china..China...
Like 90% of all medications are from China, cause our government makes it to costly to make alot of everything....
