Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links: What Needs To Be Done To Fix Speed Format

- So, it's no secret that Speed Format in Duel Links right now, is stuck in an absolute nightmare. Even if we address one problem, multiple others still lurk, ready to gatekeep most other decks old and new out of seeing any consistent play. So how much can be done to put this format to rest for good? More importantly, how much actually needs to? Does it require making the current gatekeepers unplayable? Join me as I discuss what I think could be the best possible solutions for at least most of these problems running rampant in Speed Format.
Skills are just way too busted. I havent enjoyed the way skills have worked since xyz galaxy was a thing. The meta skills just give you everything you need and pretty much prevent you from bricking.
I just built my shaddoll deck (without the new selection box stuff thanks komoney) but i just didnt have fun playing it because the timer is too short and skills just make it so unsatisfying to play because its just my opponents tapping the yellow button and getting insanly rewarded meanwhile i make 1 mistake with shaddoll and ive essentially lost
I wont lie, im salty because these past few metas have been terrible so i think im just gonna get my KOG and take a break until im ready

Personally I despise Shaddoll but even I can't use bias to justify the struggle they're in. This is Gatekeeping Hell.
Sadly you either have to play those few decks you listed otherwise you just lose. That being said I've been having some fun using power tool braver with fleur.
Also since im most interested in Yusei and 5Ds, do you think at this point in the game would Cosmic Blazar be too powerful? Whenever that and Junk Speeder releases it'd be an easy turn 1 summon with the old Shooting Star Road skill.
Blazar IDK if Yusei will get it or Z-one. Speeder might be Skill Locked.
@@SonicSmashBro I honestly wouldn't mind Speeder being Skill Locked but if so they should also give it the Salads treatment and add some cards to the extra deck on top of Speeder and from there I suppose just lock it to Yusei's cards to balance things out (like they should've done for the Soulburner skill).

While I have paid, the last thing I'd rather do unless absolutely necessary, is play to P2W meta stuff. I want to make that clear right now.
