Imagine how much quieter it would be though without the thatchers end i reckon we should redevelop the other stands first so we get more seats and develop the thatchers end last
I've read some reports about local residents complaining about light reduction once the stadium is expanded on the other sides. Frankly, I think this could be solved very nicely, but it would require some additional work for the club: just dig deeper the entire surface of the stadium, place the pitch lower, fix the drainage so that water can't accumulate when raining, then build the stands. Essentially, the larger stadium would be buried in the ground on the outside and would not cast shadow on the surrounding houses. Probably that would also fix the noise problem.
