All Souls Orchestra - Love Divine All Loves Excelling (PROM PRAISE OFFICIAL)

- Опубліковано 29 жов 2015
- For the 2015 visit to the Royal Albert Hall, we have another very exciting partnership of classical and contemporary musicians. It included all the elements familiar to the seasoned Prom-Praise goer - the leadership of conductor Noël Tredinnick, the All Souls Orchestra at full strength, and a 400-strong choir massing from all around the UK. The capacity audience also experienced the gospel message from All Souls evangelist, Rico Tice in his uniquely dynamic and compelling style.
For several years Prom Praise audiences have loved the songs of Matt Redman, so this year Prom Praise was thrilled to welcome him in persona! Matt’s modest demeanour disguises a songwriter of worldwide recognition which culminated in 2013 in winning two Grammy Awards for his now classic, ‘10,000 Reasons’. Matt was joined by fellow worship-leaders and songwriters, Reuben Morgan and Christy Nockels. ‘Love’s Excelling: Prom Praise’ captures this significant time which brought together musicians of different ages, styles and backgrounds to stand together simply in worship of God.

the very hymn was sung at my wedding 29 years ago at ALL SOULS CHURCH - LONDON
JUST AMAZING , when ever l sing this hymn , brings back the old memory ✝ 🛐
and sung at our wedding 50 years ago- Kate and Tony
Magnificent! How I imagine the choirs in heaven singing. Thankyou for this.🌹 ❤
I have the same feeling. Just like choir sang in heaven.
1. Love divine, all loves excelling,
joy of heaven, to earth come down;
fix in us thy humble dwelling;
all thy faithful mercies crown!
Jesus thou art all compassion,
pure, unbounded love thou art;
visit us with thy salvation;
enter every trembling heart.
2. Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit
into every troubled breast!
Let us all in thee inherit;
let us find that second rest.
Take away our bent to sinning;
Alpha and Omega be;
end of faith, as its beginning,
set our hearts at liberty.
3. Come, Almighty to deliver,
let us all thy life receive;
suddenly return and never,
nevermore thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing,
serve thee as thy hosts above,
pray and praise thee without ceasing,
glory in thy perfect love.
4. Finish, then, thy new creation;
pure and spotless let us be.
Let us see thy great salvation
perfectly restored in thee;
changed from glory into glory,
till in heaven we take our place,
till we cast our crowns before thee,
lost in wonder, love, and praise.
Thank you for typing these lyrics

This is just a beautiful song. This is we’re a good friend of my daughters goes to Church. Met her wonderful husband there and they were married 18 months ago. My daughter and another friend were invited but felt they may be living in a room by themselves from. Australia it’s along
way and get Covid. They decided not to. watched it online. This is a lovely
him. God blesses you in all sorts of ways.
Sung with great heart. Praise the Lord, the One whose love excels all our fears, sins and failures
Hymns are as usual timeless and deep.
Charles Wesley (1707-1788) who brought the Love of God to humble folks, remained an Anglican all his life, and is probably now so near the Throne of Grace that he will never be seen again :)

I am shocked that we seem to have devils visiting this channel. How does one dislike such glorious music? Why?!
@Jason Latham If you believe what you say, why such a lack of christian charity? Not all people have your taste! Does this make them less christian! I think not!

Whats is this churc? Whare is from ?
This is not a Church but Royal Albert Hall in London. This event is held annually called the Proms Nights, where British traditional, patriotic and sacred music is sung by thousands of people from all Christian denominations but mainly Anglican and even other faiths and non-religious. It's a cultural event.
A huge pity to see the words tampered with; can people not understand it in the original words???
