@@gervinm He's definitely still the best mechanically, he plays most champions on a whole different level, not only mid laners. The thing is, he is still the best, but the gap is definitely closing since the player base keeps getting better and better, what used to be gold/low plat a few years ago is iron/bronze today. So the best of the best have far more competition, the synergy and team play is more important than mechanics since it's a 5v5

Whoever made this video... I just want to say you have an unbelievable mind and unreal skill for editing. This year is already well in the past and worlds have been done for almost 2 years and I still put this on to feel hyped for league of legends.

Are they wrong? Those regions are best clearly. They've shown in many times and every game that you watch you can see why they are best.
LCS might as well play relegation in worlds with the showings they've had thus far. A special relegation stage for 3rd-4th seeds from all regions vs LCS top 1 and 2 and then we can have play-ins, groups etc.
They had to do teams people care about, and it's in Europe so some love for G2 and Fnatic seems appropriate.

The visuals, the lines, and the music all feels masterfully done for this teaser, imo. Well done. The only thing that people could possibly debate is what teams should be represented, but that's only because there are so many teams to choose from and the teams chosen all have some good reason for them.

Only 4 teams. and out of this 4 teams, 2 are from the LEC. No FPX, no RNG, no TL, no DAMWON or any other team. EU bias hitting hard...
Maybe because Words is at EU this year? Last year it was all about Korea, before that when it was in China, it was all about Chinese (Uzi, ClearLove7 etc. and Korean players). The only one consistent in these teasers is Faker. :)

In 2017 they had FNC with Rekkles, TSM with Bjergsen and even the 3rd seed from NA, Cloud9 with Impact and in 2018, sure it was all about the Korean and Chinese teams, but even then they showed TL with Doublelift, Flash Wolves with Maple and FNC with Caps. But this one it's only 4 teams and 4 players and 2 of them are from the LEC... So, like I said before, EU bias hitting hard. :)
