Merry Christmas in advance. My last dear relative died end of September, and for the 1st time after more than 50 years, I have no chance to celebrate with a loved one from my family. I am sad, confused, afraid of Christmas - but on the other side, I can´t awaite to decorate my home - and well, I am already listening to this.... I wish everybody luck and a beautiful christmas time with their loved ones.
I am very sorry for your loss! Being used to celebrate with your family it must be incredibly hard and heartbreakingly sad to be now alone in this time.
I don´t know if you can/want to believe in spiritual things. But in my experience during this whole time - until more or less the first week of january - heaven/the spiritual realm is very close to us and meditating (or praying) on divine or angelic love can bring you in touch which the energies of the divine and its love for us human beings.
I am deeply convinced that one day you will see all your beloved family members again - maybe feeling a bit of heaven already through prayer/meditation could be a bit of comfort to you even now. I wish you all the best and the best Christmas possible under these circumstances!

Since you mentioned the first january week: Actually we in Austria (although more at the country side than in the cities) we celebrate/honour the "Rough nights" between 26.12. and 6.1. And it is said, the barrier between this realm and the other realm is thinner than the rest of the year. So I will meditate and light a candle for the loved one those days.

Merry Christmas everyone. This is a tough one for me this year since I lost my mom on 5/1/2021 and I am very sad. She always liked Christmas as she would prepare her famous Puerto Rican traditional Christmas dishes so I have to try to do the same cause I know that’s what she would want me to do. I miss her dearly. I wish everyone a happy holidays and a wonderful 2022 new year. May all your wishes come true.

My dear sweet Mari, nothing can replace a mother's love, except God's love. But mother's love are the closest to God's love we have here on earth. I lost my my in 1985 I was 28 years of age. She was my adopted mother, I was an orphan.
When she died I went out in the night and cried to God and thanked him for her and the love she showed me. I always loved Christmas as still do. But the Christmas of that year she died I didn't feel like doing anything. I just took a little tree in a pot I had and put some lights on it.
And just tried to be at peace. Sometimes my dear you just can't do it all. But don't feel bad dear. You need others to comfort you now. But do as your heart leads you to do at this time. I wish you the comfort of God's love on you and your family my dear.

There’s something about this time of the year that just makes me happy. The cold weather actually breathes in new life to me. Everyone is just so happy and hopeful. It’s truly the most magical time of the year.

I keep coming back to this video because everything about it is so pretty. The music is soft , the snow falling is realistic, the tree isn’t fancy but simply put together, the fireplace can be seen from both directions if your sitting on the couch. This room is everything created for a lovely family gathering , two or even just one ! Guess I’ll always keep repeating this video while I’m sipping on my morning coffee. Looking forward to snow , Christmas decorations, music and family time! More then anything it’s the time to celebrate our savior Jesus Christ who continues to give us hope , peace and love ! Thanks. This is wonderfully soothing and beautiful. Waking up to Christmas preparation with my cup of coffee and airplaying this on my Tv. The only difference where I live, in northern Iceland, is that outside is pitch black and will be all day. Nothing that a little candle can’t fix though. Des. 22. Is the shortest day of the year and after that the sun begins to rise to longer days ahead. In mid February we will finally see the sun peeking over the mountains and renew our faith in spring coming once again.

I’ve been visualizing daily since November how me and my family rent a wooden house in switzerland.
Inside its fully decorated with xmas ornaments, the scent of orange-cinnamon candles are spread all around the house, underneath the tree are plenty of sustainable wrapped gifts, the table is full of selfmade cookies, candys and a delicious festive dinner we all indulge in. Outside its continuously snowing, you might even hear slight blizzard but it just makes the Christmas ambience more cozy and romantic.
Im aware that its gonna happen one day, until then i wish you all a blessed, happy, safe and festive Christmas all around the world💝🎄🎁🎉

I live in a small city in Texas and I've only seen snow on Christmas Eve once.
Ran last minute errands during the day.
Everyone I saw was so excited about the snow no one cared that businesses were losing power all across town. It was Christmas Eve and snowing. We were all big and little excited kids smiling and talking and laughing with each other.

That's interesting. I am Church of England. I was always taught the Christmas season was from the beginning of Advent (4th Sunday before Christmas) up to Epiphany celebrating when the 3 Kings reached the stable. Some take their decorations down on 12th night which most say is 5th Jan but my Mum always said 12th night was the 6th Jan.
