I've seen Pink Floyd 4 times in three different decades, twice in the 70s once in the late 80s and this 94 Pulse concert. I've probably seen at least 100 concerts from AC DC to Zeppelin and everyone in between alphabetically and the four Pink Floyd shows I saw are the top four.. honestly every song Pink Floyd plays in this 94 Pulse concert are like any other groups finale!! The song "Run Like Hell" is the final song in this concert. Songs from this same Pulse concert such as "Sorrow" "High Hopes" and even "One of These Days" are all spectacular!!
I could not agree more my friend.I travelled from Scotland to Rotterdam to see Floyd and it has to be one of the best gigs i have witnessed .Outstanding performance from all and being pre 9/11 they even had the plane flying over the heads of a packed stadium and crashing into the end of the stage.They really go to a lot of effort to put on a spectacular show.. Lucky you! I only managed to see their concert in Udine, Italy '94 and I would rank it among first three, first place would probably take Roger Waters The Wall '11 in Zagreb, Croatia. I just love watching people's faces when they hear this for the first time.
With Madison Square Garden as my 'Local Venue', I've seen a ton of shows in my 58 yrs. Pink Floyd Pulse Tour at the Meadowlands (MSG sold out in 5 minutes) was top 5 Shows along with Rush, Queen, The Jackson 5 & Menudo! (Ricky Martin was 🤯 12 now he's Living La Vida Loca) 🤦🏿♀️ I'm sooo old! 🤣🤣🤣
I have attended 2 Pink Floyd concerts (Miami and Cincinnati), as well as quite a few other well-known bands. Looking in retrospect, the best 2 concerts I have ever attended were Pink Floyd and Pink Floyd.
It's wonderful to see that this master piece of music written more than 40 years ago, is still moving so many people. I admit that this version from their Pulse tour is still making me weep each and every time I listen to it ☺ I can say that Pink Floyd music has always been something special in my life since I attended their The Wall concert in Dortmund (13th Feb 1981) in the age of 11. I attended (only) 4 of their concerts, including the great event in Venice, for which the road trip fortunately was sponsored by my father.

Just because David Gilmour (guitarist) played a couple of 'iffy' notes. So over a minute was cut and millions watch that version instead of thousands hearing it all! So sad that so many people miss that extra minute and 7 seconds of David Gilmour playing guitar.

I've watched many reactions to this video and yours is the best! It was me the first time I saw it, transported by the music and mesmerized by the lights, and no one else has watched THE SOLO immediately again! I'm 76 and couldn't guess how many times I've watched it, but it still amazes me. I watched a video recently where David Gilmour explained how he composed it and Roger Waters imput.

The first time I have seen this video and heard this version of Comfortably Numb.................. Awesome , amazing, I would've loved to have been there.
Lucky to be at this run of concerts at Earls Court and many more Floyd gigs over the years; with the first one back in the 60s when they were third on the bill to Hendrix and The Move. Tickets were 10/6d :) After 60 years of gig going, this one was head and shoulders above the rest. I would add the light show was out of this world and the video releases can't get anywhere near what we saw on the night.
The Pulse concert is amazing! I was in high school in 1994 and sadly unaware of Pink Floyd at the time. I discovered their music and became a fan of Pink Floyd and especially David Gilmour (guitarist/lead singer) in 2015. I was awestruck when I heard David Gilmour was touring as a solo act in 2016, so I knew I had to go to a show (he only rarely tours and I think his previous tour had been 10 years prior, in 2006). Anyway, the show was to promote his solo album, 'Rattle That Lock', but he also did so many Pink Floyd classics. He was 70 years old that year and hadn't lost a thing. If you ever want to react to David Gilmour's more recent concert videos, I suggest the "Live in Pompeii 2016" concert and specifically that version of 'Comfortably Numb' or 'In Any Tongue.' As for Pulse, I echo the other commenters who have suggested reacting to 'Sorrow'.
Great reaction man, Punk Floyd is Legendary, they are in a class all their own! I've been a huge Pink Floyd band since 1973 when they released their "Dark Side of the Moon" album. I've seen them twice live, one time was The Wall Show,.. /Concert/Play/Movie, in February of 1980. It was the most incredible, phenomenal Show IO have ever seen in my life, and I'm now 66 years old! No one puts on a live performance like Pink Floyd, absolutely NO ONE!

Actually, the opening of the mirror ball flower was also delayed. It was supposed to open sooner. In live concerts, here in the US the timing was different.
WOW - I've seen this performance dozens of times - the video is the same but the second solo has MANY differences and not as good as the other one - same camera angles and cuts completely but the second solo is very different. - check out any of the other 'first time listening' video on UA-cam.
That is not the correct recording I've listened to that solo at that concert a 1000 times. 999 times it sounded different. I'm totally serious listen to any other UA-cam reaction to Pink Floyd Comfortably numb Pulse 1994 Earls Court legend David Gilmour 2nd solo. In this clip the 2nd half of this solo is different. Any Pink Floyd experts out there tell me I'm wrong......
