His second round was both interpretive and had mad musicality. Did y’all catch him grabbing the sand and building the castle? He slides/moonwalk are amongst the best I’ve seen. Watching this, I figured out why. It’s all about surface area if you notice on his push foot he gets on the very tips of his toes and has minimal contact with the ground. I guess that’s one reason they call it Moonwalk. This may have been obvious to some. That second round was nice. Both dancers!
Clean that room, Son! I couldn’t help it, lol. This comment/opinion is never popular. Let me begin by saying, BluPrint is absolutely a beast. However, I believe he falls into the same category as Fikshun. These two guys are extraordinary dancers but they lack a clear defined style of their own. Every time I watch either of them dance they are technically on point and do incredible moves but it always looks choreographed, IMO. When I practice I do something I call channeling. I pick a dancer and channel there style, not their moves, but their Mannerisms and style. I do this to increase my dance vocabulary and ultimately put my own flavor on it and come up with something new or at most a hybrid or an influenced by type move but I make it my own. Other than dancing in an animated style, I can never Channel Blu and Fik. I realize it probably sound like a personal problem but it’s my opinion. That being said awesome battle both of them did awesome. And you did awesome in the reaction. Thanks!
You know, I’ve talked about that same thing with different dancers out here in the A. Bluprint is more animated if anything. Like u can tell he does tutting and animation like crazy. Fikshun on the other hand I can’t really tell what exactly his style is. Still love him tho. And LOL I had my room like that for kicks and giggles tbh 😂😂
