+blibli blublu Sowon is the leader because she can take care of the members and she is the oldest. When Yuju fell during Me Gustas Tu, it was Sowon who helped her up after falling the third time. And at the end of the performance she guided them out like she was the first to complain about the performing conditions for her members. You don't have to have to be the oldest but all it requires is having the right requirements and Sowon has that. She takes care of all her members really well. During awards it is the leader's job to have a speech prepared and some members can talk as well but during interviews and stuff its the leaders responsibility to answer the questions if the members dont talk, like in the recent after school club episode the mcs were asking questions but only Sowon answered cause the others didn't answer it
