This is the kind of guy I get stuck behind at the grocery store checkout lane
It's like getting stuck in line behind the degenerate gambler cashing in/buying a million lottery tickets for 20 minutes while you're just there to buy a gallon of milk 😂
I think that conversation lasted longer than the fishing trip
Nice guy
I've never crossed the Ambassador, but I've crossed the Blue Water Bridge. I use my Michigan Enhanced License to and from Canada without a passport or anything else as a Michigan resident. Stayed in Canada once for more than a week before with just a enhanced license and that's it. Just like the border agent said, staying in with just an enhanced license for 1 week and no passport, they should be fine. And no, you do not need a passport if you have an enhanced license to cross, since a enhanced license is already good enough to clear and enter though US and Canadian customs.
You dont an enhanced ANYTHING to drive across the border between the US and Canada. You are quoting an old law that no longer stands. You just a need a normal driver's license. And you need proof of registration and insurance for your vehicle. I live in New Brunswick, Canada and drive over to Houlton Maine all the time.
