- Join me as I go camping in the rain on the farm with a hot tent and a woodstove. We get in the land rovers, explore the farm, setup camp just before heavy rainfall and cook some food on the fire. Proper spring english camping!

I love your new Landover it must be one of the best looking ones out there that isn't over the top bling though the new alloy wheels look stunning 😊😊😊
I love the educationaly stuff, I've learnt an awful lot from your channel over the years, but I do always enjoy a nice chilled youtube video of a couple of old mates going camping :) hope the brown TA Trekker bags will be in stock soon btw!
That stove is a beast!
Great Video Mike….loved ❤it!😊
Great stuff boys, and Tribute mmm a lovely little thirst quencher. 🤘🤘
A new TA Outdoors video always makes sure the day will be a good one!
nice one
In from work, showered, TA Outdoors has another video out, tea can wait.
Make the tea and sip while you watch
Another great video...can't believe its been 10 yrs since the pheasants!!! Great seeing George again and what a stove!
Ah, you make me miss my country. Cooking sausages and camping in the rain. Doesn’t get much better.
Looks like a good spot for a camp and the landy is really smart looking
And thank you for the Cornish accent demonstration- me and my bachelors degree I had to wait til I got to the US to achieve (history) appreciate it no end Sowsnek.
Those lock are butterfly locks, very common on flightcases for sound and light gear :)
I’m a stagehand and knew what they were and immediately noticed how nice and clean and unbusted they are 🤣
@@SethCrosby-wz6jrnew butterfly locks are a thing of heaven 😃
Roe deer back streaks would cook nicely in that pan!
If I can suggest, to help keep the tent cleaner, after you unload the stove, use the box to store the cut firewood into it. Thanks for the video. Skillet
Nice and So fresh Air either natural, I like it
Love Those WHEELS that's a mean Machine ❤
That stove case reminds me of my flight case for my vinyl records.
Tanks for the video, always a treat to come home and see notice of another TA Outdoors. Stove is awesome, loved the glassing for game.
Quite the set up!!
Always enjoy all yr vids. Man of nature. Love it xx
Another great video Mike!
I have some catching up to do however still ❤from Michigan
Really good watch looked amazing place ace the deer and good food with really good beers
You should make an extendable rack off the top of your vehicle. Some kind of steel frame, that could be setup on a roller rack style system, give it a few places it can lock and secure depending on how much space you need / want. Then get 2 legs for the far end to help support it. Drape some heavy duty canvas sheets, or tarps over it, anchor them to the ground, and you now have a nice little protected space.
The new stove was nice the rain sounded good on the tent. Great video guys.
Great Video and the Landy is looking well! The Stove was a Beast!
Rain camping can be actually fun and cozy
Love the Land Rover mate!!! Fantastic
Seeing that old Rover makes me think of that clip from Top Gear of Clarkson going "The most unreliable car in the world...is the most reliable car...IN THE WORLD" from the one where they drive across South America or something.
I do love those classic looking Defenders though. I've just always loved those big boxy European car designs, especially like the late 80s/early 90s. The Land Rover Defender, the Mercedes W460, the old Volvos. Simultaneously classy and built like tanks.
Oh hi George! 😁👍🏼
Living the life many of us would like to! Nice video man! Cheers!
Sausages and fresh air, I can endure the rain…under a tent of course :) Nice video guys.
Nice video Mike & Gorge 👍👍. As here in Canada, wilderness camping is a different adventure. Dealing with Blk BEARS, Coyotes, Wolf's, Cougars & those pesky raccoons.
Before watching - I'll go ahead and start with the obligatory UK comments:
1) did you have permissions?
2) did you leave no trace?
3) see any badger sets?
4) see any roe deer?
5) do any woodland management?
6) did you pack the entire surplus store for an 8 hour camp?
7) susages
Cheers mate!
sick rovers!
Good job you had those ruff tuff Landies to get there, that was some hard off roadin' across those billiard table fields...!
Not hating, just chuckling! My BMW estate would've walked that, towing a caravan!
Great video as always ☺️
I am looking at the tent and at that stove as you're unpacking it, and I'm thinking, "you are gonna be SO HOT tonight!" I hope you're not planning to sleep in a very warm sleeping bag. LOL!!
Those latches are boat latches. That stove was probably sized for the blow up tent.
This was such a peaceful and relaxing watch. Great video
I'd love to have a vehicle like that, but I would want one with the steering wheel on the correct side. LOL
🖐😎👍 afternoon...
That's why I love summers in the UK...mild, rainy...and everyone walks or bikes everywhere...you guys should try Texas summers just once - you'd never knock the weather there again (and you guys have no insects to antagonize you! 😂)
I can't wait to go back to Wales!
Happy trails to you...(and Irn Bru!)
Also nothing lethal or poisonous….. unless you count Brains bitter 😂
That’s what I want to do with one of my lightweights, discovery 200tdi engine, discovery diffs, it’ll be a pocket rocket
Sound lads
When I left Cornwall there were basically no deer, now my younger brother says he could virtually hunt deer the whole year with the various types. Here I New England/Northeast US we have the Whitetail deer and apparently there are more here now than before the Europeans arrived. Also with the Whitetail numbers and pressure on them in the west, the Puma is creeping back to the east coast.
Thanks Mike. 🎸🔪
Looks like you had a great catch-up. More than one ale was imbibed and why not!?
That flue was very strange.
fajny odcinek to był
I need a sausage right now !!!!
fun stuuff
That stove is really close to being big enough for a cabin. Actually would be more than enough for a one room hunting cabin. Kinda ridiculous but if you have a car right there why not
Sir that stove is big enough to heat a 3-6m square large field tent. My dad used one about that size for his 16 x 16 foot canvas tent. (5 x 5m about)
A local wood near to me used to have hundreds of rabbits but exactly the same hardly any rabbits within the woods.
Hello mate, please, what is the reference of your jacket ? XD Seem nice
Not sure if you have seen the Wild Homestead channel but I just watched this one last night, I live to see different hot tent stoves but I watched today's latest episode where his tent went up with the one he used all winter. Check it out and let your fellow hot tent campers watch it too ❤
Looks good! Do you have a link, or just more information about the stove?
Another great vid! What’s the dome tent you’re using? I need one in my life!
I guess the Stove acts like a TV with those big glass plates. I'm assuming it is meant to be set up so you feed it from the side? It is a bit weird to have the Flu at what would be considered the front?
Clicked for the Rover, stayed for the Rover. Overlanding video in the offing? Did I use that term “offing” correctly?
4:28 those catches arent new mike. Lol.... i use them in the entertainment industry for flightcases and racks. And yeah,, theyre a brilliant design!
That stove is too big for that tent! Would have worked perfectly in the jumbo inflatable cabin tent though!
I wonder if your friend george would allow you to purchase a small patch of the farmland just to grow some off grid goodies for your forest camping vids.
good vid

How much did your stove cost in U.S,A money?
But do you have any LandRovers…?
I have two
😊
vintage Rover > modern Rover
Hmmm 1980s FOO Landie v8?
2 Landrovers?
Yes, two! Defender and a series 3 Lightweight 👍🏻
Yesterday I became a bushcraft. It was a long journey, i started as a seed and grew into a beautiful bush. I had all the females surrounding me. Then this clown came and started chopping my bush.
there's lots of hiss in the audio
Yeah sorry about that my microphone broke on me!
Watching you hold the pan while cooking hot me tired. . . A couple rocks would’ve done the trick

What should that be??? Again a video with not much content. And if, it's mostly a kind of advertising. Oh, how I miss the good old days when tiny houses were built in a forest with Dad helping.
Don't watch it then

Now look at that! Another one of those typical ones* who didn't do like they better should do (especially in public): Make sure that one's brain is engaged before putting one's mouth into gear!
* Their number is growing rapidly, especially on the internet.
@@stevedempsey9749
Aaaand another one of those typical internet life forms that should engage their brain before putting their mouth into gear. Especially in public!
@Chr.U.Cas2216 I'm not saying your wrong and I'm not saying I'm right I just think if you don't enjoy this content don't watch it. I just happen to enjoy this content its okay to disagree after all
@@stevedempsey9749
Just look at that! Still not engaged the brain but nevertheless babbling in public again! Looks like that somebody needs help!? Maybe somebody should read his first "comment" and think it over logically?!
Best regards, luck, health and wisdom to him.
