Kevin, Was looking for a registration for the song Perfect for a long time. Coincidentally I am on your channel, super thoughtful for sharing your registrations.
No problem Patrick, Quite a few people sell them but I feel they're a personal thing and my thoughts are if my registrations are useful then people might use them as a base to modify and create their own custom version, perhaps much more useful that way - By coincidence I was thinking of playing this on my T5 tomorrow - Kev
Thanks MrC, I'm sure it's just a piece of grit, rock salt or metal shavings from some manly angle grinding without safety goggles :-) - I kept hearing this on the radio then realized I had the music so it was worth a blast - Kev
Hello Kev .
Thanks Gerard, it's a song currently in the charts - I realised I had the music last night so I thought I would give it a play this afternoon after I had finished the Saturday shopping - it's a nice one to play, not the best key though, but it seems to have turned out OK - Kev
Hi Kevin This is a lovely cover of the Ed Sheeran song and your registrations together with your playing ability make it sound delightful. Do you have the registration as a download. I have a PSR-S770. Thanks Barry
Hi Barry, there's a link in the description of my songs to a folder I keep them all in - take any you fancy, they are all one's I've created and I try to mention in the description if I'm using an expansion voice or not. You will find some voices won't work as the S770 doesn't have the same voices as the S970, you should be able to substitute another voice for it - Kev
Kevin Adams Hi Kevin Many thanks for your prompt reply. However, sorry if i sound a little dense but I can't find your LINK or the descriptions. Please tell me where it is Thanks Barry
Hi Barry, normally there's some text underneath the video as it's playing - I put the link in there at the beginning so it's not hidden - here's the link to my folder - tinyurl.com/z9wqejf - Kev
Hi Jean0Marie - The registrations should work but the S770 has less voices than the S970 so you might need to alter some registrations where the S770 doesn't have the voice, in most cases you can use a Live! voice which would sound similar - Kev
Amazing cover, Mr.Adams! The style suits the song really well, giving it a classic touch, that makes it quite hard to guess if the song's an old one or a recent one (though it's this year's release from Divide by Ed Sheeran). The music was 'perfectly' 'divided' between the different voices, and the use of these voices gives it a grand orchestral feel. It reminds me of Paul Mauriat's orchestra and the like, where they've a drummer, nylon guitarist, and piano, along with woodwind and string sections! I guess such songs fit into the Easy Listening and/or Traditional Pop genre. The guitar accentuates the beauty of the soulful tune! This is surely one of your best covers! Keep up the awesome work. Have a great day - Tarun
Thanks Tarun, it's not one I've played before so I'm glad you enjoyed it - I kept hearing it on the radio then realized I had the music so gave it a go - kev
Great interpretation. Excuse my ignorance but your registration file has an .rgt extension. I have registration magic software and expansion manager software both none deal with these file extensions. How do you download the file to the PSR S770?
Hi - you put the RGT file onto a USB thumb drive, plug it into your keyboard, press the Registration + and - buttons to bring up the selection, it should default to the USB drive, select the registration and it will load - You can open the RGT files using Yamaha Registration Manager (YRM) by MBestSoft on jososoft web site - I don't use Windows but it runs fine on linux as well - Kev
Unfortunately I must decline, the sheet is copyright and penalties severe if I was caught doing this - you can find the sheet easily on the web if you search - Kev

Hi - I was on my computer when this notification popped up - I don't understand what you're saying - you don't think S.Art Implies? Do you know what S.Art! voices are ? - Kev
It does several things and it depends on the instrument and the playing - I'm not a pianist but traditionally a two manual organist so for me touch sensitivity is quite new, S.Art works out how you're playing and stitches together thousands of samples in real time to add inflections and nuances to match the playing. The piano here is the same as the Tyros 5 and is the S.Art! Grand, the S970 has the same sound chip in as the Genos though so the samples are slightly better resolution than the Tyros chip - I doubt the human ear could tell any difference though. When using S.Art! voices I can add effects such a breathing when playing sax or the soft pedal on piano or foot controlled Wah Wah etc. by using foot pedals but a lot of the time I leave the S.Art to do whatever it wants, sometimes it's more pronounced than others like organ clicks or as you say fret noises - for me I find if I ignore it and let it do it's own thing it seems better than trying to force it to do anything (if that makes sense) - On this keyboard I've S.Art! piano, Live! Concert and lots of others, I've also some I've loaded in expansion packs and there's a bunch of legacy sounds in the instrument folders, on top of that there's loads more in the GM MIDI and GM2 MIDI voices - I like this one a lot, it's a nice piano and I spend a lot of time using it with some simple strings as the 2nd instrument, it's pretty much my default instrument - Kev
@@pveldhose6211 - to clarify something about the voices - Live! voices are sampled in stereo so you get any effects associated with that (reverb, ambience etc.), Cool! voices are generally electronic voices such as organs that have a lot of dynamic textures and nuances that need complicated waveforms and large samples, Sweet! voices tend to be wind instruments such as flutes and saxophones, instruments with complex (fine detailed) sounds, the S.Art! voices have the highest and most accurate sound samples, they might include more after effect for example or more layers than Live! or Cool! voices. There are also Megavoices but these are designed to be played through MIDI as they contain multiple samples and velocities of the instrument, they can sound strange if played any other way - Hope this explains a bit more - Kev

Which section of the voice is the gothicvox found??

Reduce your tempo......and also what is the style you've used? 6/8 ballad?
Why? It's played at the exact tempo specified in the music - and it's a 12/8 ballad - the style is in the description under the video - Kev
