It really doesn't though. "I don't need no liquor, and I don't need no drugs." That is the first line of the song, and it shows him doing both while the song says it. It's a good amv, but the song doesn't fit. He definitely wasn't sober, but he fought for what he believed in and fought for the people he loved. I can think of a dozen songs that would suit him better.
I watch this show and David and Lucy make a very good couple. See the end of the season was very sad at the end. Also makes me want to play Cyberpunk 2077.

Lucy should've died with David. I know it'd be another romeo & juliet but if she really loved him and was tired of seeing ppl she cared about die for her freedom she would've stayed with him until the end. 😔I was more pissed than said at the end
