What merits? When a deadly pandemic was sweeping the country, he criticized the vaccines that would prevent people from contracting it in most cases. Who knows how many people died because they were impressed by his last name and believed what he said? He's a dangerous crackpot! I'm not "privileged", at least not as much as JFK's grandson, but I agree with everything he said; even the epithets. RFK Jr., on the other hand, reeks of privilege; simply because of his last name, he is able to run for POTUS.

Just a reminder that the "bubble" RFK Jr grew up in included having his father taking him to Appalachia and telling him, "These are the people you need to help when you grow up", and then having that father taken from him when he was 14 years old. After that he was shipped off to live with relatives because his widowed mother was overwhelmed. Not exactly the priviledge most of his cousins enjoyed.
You would do well to look at his policies instead of believing the msm misrepresentations about him. He is the most grounded and relatable of any candidate we have had in over 50 years. I encourage you to hear him out in his own words and then decide. Start with "Who is Bobby Kennedy" and then watch "How I See the State of Our Union" to get an idea of who he actually is. You have nothing to lose by hearing him out.

When you take his family history into account however the things that don't really make sense from a public perspective, make sense when you realize his entire life has been spent around the billionaires and politicians getting free handouts simply because of who his dad was.
Like the guy is an "environmental lawyer" who has never struggled financially a day in his life.
I look at policies like reparations as a political litmus test, anyone who knows anything about how the government works would know reparations would not only cause an immediate recession, but 90% of all the money would be spent just redistributing the money, people would pay in their 400k but people would only be receiving around 10-40k. The fact that RFK is pushing for reparations and cannot give a single reason why he wants it, after decades of networking with the same people who pushed for it originally, it just shows a clear conflict of interests.
I'm not voting for RFK based on his family, I'm not voting for him based on his complete lack of thought going into policies that have the potential to bankrupt the entire country. I brought up his family because that shows the possible motive behind why he wants some of the things he wants.
I love that he is against a federal reserve cryptocurrency, but it's hard for me to vote for him when he has other policies that completely override what I consider the "good" policies. It doesn't matter if the government does or doesn't have a reserve cryptocurrency of the entire nation has been bankrupt by reparations.
I hate that we are forced to pick between 3 idiots born into rich and powerful families but if I'm going to choose anyone out of them it's going to be the one who at least somewhat understands economies at scale which is Trump. RFK was an environmental lawyer, he doesn't know anything about the economy of physical goods; and Biden's business experience is having someone else write, publish, and market a book for him.

RFK Jr. is what I believe is one of the few compromising, none full establishment politicians the left has... (If not the only one left) And I appreciate him throwing his hat into the ring...
But think RFK Jr. is going to pull anyone away from people who've already decided on Trump is just silly... And while he will pull many left leaning voters, considering how poor of an option Biden is... I'd be hard pressed to believe that he'll over come the narrative that has people, to this very day, still defending and speaking positively of Biden. The puppet strings are tied tight.
Vote for whom you like as that is your prerogative. But if you are honestly not a Biden fan... a vote for RFK Jr. is effectively an endorsement of Biden (unless you weren't going to vote for Trump and that was a lie...).
RFK Jr. is not going to pull enough votes from either candidate to beat them. At most, he'll effect the optics of which of how much one of the other candidates win by.
