ضمن فعاليات الدورة الخامسة والعشرين من مهرجان الفنون الإسلامية ، افتتح سعادة عبد الله بن محمد العويس رئيس دائرة الثقافة في الشارقة معرض التصوير الضوئي "إسلاميات- حرف يدوية" الذي يقام بالتعاون مع اتحاد المصورين العرب في مكتبة الشارقة العامة ،حضر الافتتاح محمد إبراهيم القصير مدير إدارة الشؤون الثقافية في الدائرة مدير المهرجان و أديب شعبان رئيس الاتحاد وعدد كبير من الفنانين والإعلاميين ومحبي التصوير.
وتضمن المعرض 40 عملاً ضوئياً لمصورين يمثلون 15 دولة ، وكرّم عبد الله العويس ومحمد القصير الفائزين في مسابقة المعرض وهم: عيسى إبراهيم من البحرين في المركز الأول ومحمد نجيب نصر من جمهورية مصر العربية في المركز الثاني وعبد الله الخليلي من الجزائر في المركز الثالث.
As part of the activities of the twenty-fifth session of the Islamic Arts Festival, His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Culture, opened the photography exhibition “Islamic Arts - Handicrafts”, which is being held in cooperation with the Union of Arab Photographers at the Sharjah Public Library. The opening was attended by Muhammad Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Sharjah Public Library. Cultural Affairs in the Department, Director of the Festival, Adeeb Shaaban, President of the Union, and a large number of artists, media figures, and photography enthusiasts.
The exhibition included 40 photographic works by photographers representing 15 countries, and Abdullah Al Owais and Muhammad Al Qaseer honored the winners of the exhibition competition, namely: Issa Ibrahim from Bahrain in first place, Mohammad Nageeb Nasr from Egypt in second place, and Abdullah Al Khalili from Algeria in third place.
