    Steve,
    Thanks for posting the cool video on adding the structure interior details. I have been using card stock structures for awhile, but never gave it a thought for interior details. I like the LED just plug lighting add.

    Those look great! You did a nice job with them. The door on the left or right of the structure is actually the door to the steps / staircase of the upper apartments.

      Ahh! Those are doors. I didn’t even realize that. I just thought they were windows, but my near vision isn’t great right now (I’m getting new glasses next week). In that case, the kit would have been the perfect size as is with space on each end for the stairways. Alas.

    If i may offer an editing point - your video cuts are really fast, which makes it a touch tough to follow when your hands “fly” across the screen. Might you consider slowing down a touch? Thanks.
    PS - the content is FABULOUS. Thanks for sharing.

    Can you do a video of “underneath” the layout, showing the drill-thru of the layout, and connecting the light plugs and base? I fear developing a Swiss cheese base on my layout to get the plugs down thru the plywood.

      The next video on the project layout will show the completed wiring. It does get real hard to keep everything neat once you add structure lights, street lights, and track signals. That is a LOT of additional wiring.

      Shish kabob stick with the wire taped to it will help get the wire thru the hole to.

    A while back you did a video on the n scale street lights. I was wondering how you powered them. I'm putting some on a little 2x3' n scale layout and only thing I have to power them is a bachmann transformer. I didn't know if I would need to do anything special to get them to work or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      I think they were 3V each so I put resistors on them such that they could handle the 12V power supply which I think came from the accessory output of the Kato packs.

      You can get a board on eBay that you plug a 12 volt peer supply into and it has a bunch of outlets that are 3 volts each. It is a lot easier than having to solder a bunch of resistors onto each light. $15.

    Will they fit for the woodland scenics Marchant row 1 and 2 ?

    • @StevesTrains
      @StevesTrains  2 роки тому

      Not 100% sure if there are rooms that will fit perfect as they are or not. But since they are all just thick paper, it is easy to cut and modify them to fit whatever size building you have.
