I've started collecting the mosaique platinum collection also. So far I have the tea pot, breakfast cups, and a sushi plate used for decoration. I really want the presentation plates but I'm not sure I will ever use them (I'm not that fancy I guess.) My SA says that she refuses to sell me the dinner plates because I certainly will never use them for eating (she know me so well.) She says that I should save my money and just use simple well made white plates on top of the presentation plates which she thinks is more my style anyway because its less flashy. I think you should go with the jungle plates. Big cats are second only to horses in Hermes animal iconography. Whereas the palm tree prints remind me of a homeware collection from H&M which I'm sure is not the vibe that you were going for. I hope that you were able to film today. It was a gorgeously sunny day!
Thank you for watching and the advice 🙏🏻 I love the tea pot and the matching cups.They're so elegant but I find them to be way too small..I'd have to refill them every 5 minutes ☕ Perhaps you could start by buying one presentation plate and if you don't end up using it for eating, you can always display it as a decorative piece or as a tray? I completely agree with you..while I do love the palm tree print for the summer, as you pointed out it can come off quite H&M / Urban Outfitter-ish. I was actually, thank you 🧡
@@IamGPS I would never get the tea cups. The breakfast cups are much larger, functional and ofcourse...more expensive!
So Coco agreed! I use the equateur breakfast cups for my morning coffee. The size is perfect for my Nespresso and splash of almond milk.

I totally agree with tai shy bleu d’allieurs is 100% elegant it reeks Hermès and food looks great on it. Any home around the world would bring a Mediterranean vibe to your eyes an stomach with it sittings on the table.
Thank you for the video! :) I like the jungle design over the palm leaf. I think that mixing silver and gold could be interesting. We mix metals in jewelry, and often with the hardware on our bags. I would have to see it in person, and then decide. Also, I like the idea of china being used for various purposes. It shows originality.
On my last visit to Hermes, I drank from an interesting water glass. I thought that the design was so well done. It was a plain glass, but had one slight indentation on either side. The indentations were positioned near the middle of the glass. They were created for the easy resting of the thumb and middle finger. The grip was so comfortable. I have to think that the glass was Hermes, but don't know. It was in a strange way elegant, utilitarian, and sensual. Everything Hermes does is so well executed.
Have you ever had initials added to a scarf? I was able to have this done during a promotion. Even when using a loop to view the craftsmanship, the needlework was exquisite!

I suspect the glass wasn't from Hermes..I remember having a conversation with my SA about this a while back, and she pointed out that none of the glasses they serve water / champagne in is from Hermes, as they cannot be machine washed. Maybe it was St Louis? It does sound like such a contemporary design..you should ask your SA next time you get to visit the store. No, I have not actually. But it sounds like a great idea to do as a gift. I can imagine..no matter what Hermes does they always take it to the next level and their quality standards are unmatched 🍊
Love Mosaique Platinum, Carnets d Equateur and Cheval d Orient. They’re def on my wishlists but since these collections are pricier, I wanted to start with H deco or the red Balcon.
I really like the H Deco range..it's a lovely contemporary take on Art Deco patterns 👏🏻

love your collection! personally I LOVE the new passiflora - the problem for you may be adding the gold rims with the platnium color you already have - as someone with a large china collection, the key to mixing patterns/brands is to always keep the rim the same - also, I don't care if someone knows if hermes or not, a true hermes collector will know! unless equateur or passiflora done in plat (not 100% sure but do not think so) you should pass on both as it just won't match imo! xx

The equateur collection definitely! I remember I saw those in store for the first time months ago & I audibly gasped! They are so beautiful! You could perhaps add some tea cups & saucers for high tea if you like drinking tea 😊
Thank you for your feedback 🧡 The unanimous verdict is that I'll be adding pieces from the Equateur range to my collection..it really is a beautiful collection 🍊 I have purchased tea cups in the past from Hermes but I never reach for them, as they're all too small for me. I have to refill them every 5 minutes haha 🤦🏻♂️

@@IamGPS I have the Carnets d'Equateur mug for coffee and the Passifolia mug for tea bc they are the largest cups Hermès offers. I initially bought Balcon du Guadalquivir mug but it was too small for my liking. I then bought the breakfast cup and saucer for the look and formality but the mouth of the breakfast cup is so wide my coffee gets cold too quickly. The larger mugs are perfect 🤎

@@gabrijelaweyerer7934 That's a lovely offer. Personally, I'm not a fan of the shape of the Kelly Danse. It's without a doubt a practical bag as there're quite a few ways you can wear it but I don't find it to be proportionately refined. Let me know if you get to have a look at it 🧡

@@IamGPS good morning, thats true, I had the same opinion about the proportions.. I could choose between blue nuit and gold, both with gold hardware. As Im really tall, the size and long strap worked very good on me. It was hard to choose, in the end I took the gold, the light stitching on the small bag is gorgeous. Now I am considering a Kelly Cut with the dark blue and gold. 🙈 Have you a Cut or Pochette? Have a nice day ❤
What did you end up doing with the patterned plate you couldn’t decide on ? Is it hand painted by an Hermès artist? If so, it would be worth collecting. What is your opinion on the Les Bourassques dinnerware? I love the painting and have seen a saucer in person. I’m thinking of collecting that print.
I haven't had a chance to add new plates to my collection but once I do, I'll go for the Carnets d'Equateur (jungle) print 🙋🏻♂️ I wasn't aware that line is still in production but I must say I prefer the Mosaique au 24 line 🙊

I was wondering, I am interested in getting the mosaique platinum square plate with the horse in the middle of the plate shown in your video but I was wondering if there are flecks of platinum/silver on the plate like on the large round platter in the same collection, first item shown in this video? I think your right about the palm tree leaf its nothing special with out the flower plates from the collection . i do like the animal plates to add color to what you have

PS the Hermès little soy dishes are great for rings, etc, but if u worry about breakage, I use tiny little sterling round trays with a lip. My earrings or rings are less likely to slide off if bumped.

I love your collection but hate having to buy an entire collection piece by piece. Personally I’d take the jungle collection. Maybe I’ve been a connoisseur of Hermès for too long but that is an iconic Hermès cat. I have at least three scarfs with some form of it on them. Anyone who buys H across all categories will know what it is...I would.
Thank you 🙏🏻 I think if you're planning on fully building out a tableware set, it can be a pain..but I actually quite like this system, in case you only want to pick up a piece here and there as decoration. You're so right!! I completely forgot Hermes has been using these jungle cats for quite a while across other categories..I bought the striped scarf they had last winter with same cats 🐆

I can't believe you think bleu d'ailleurs is tacky XD I personally love the blue; it's such an elegant and royal colour. Of course, too much of it can seem a little intimidating.
Having collections from both the bleu and M24 Pl, I wouldn't mix the collections if that's what you're thinking of doing. The designs Hermes offers are so different, the only other range I can think of that is close enough to the M24 is H deco in the white, but it pales in comparison to the shimmering of the platinum. You would definitely have to start a new collection or simply buy statement pieces from either. Not going to lie, really jealous that the US has almost the complete range and petit h, we have only the basic lines down here in Australia.

In the US, you can buy petite h online but it's not actually available in-stores and your SA is unable to transfer things into the store either 🤷🏻♂️
I am GPS our market here isn’t that big enough to produce ‘petit h’ pieces, to my knowledge there is no way to physically buy the pieces as each of them are made with whatever materials they have on hand. I do know they occasionally hold ‘galleries’ in certain cities to market the line but I haven’t had the luck to attend to one yet 😉. There is only so much the SA can do, especially transferring products; that being said, I have used my SA to source an exceptional piece from overseas even with a full deposit, it did take 2 months but I managed to get it transferred from Shanghai store in the end. Of course that all depends on various conditions, whether or not the piece is already sold, how long it’s been sitting in inventory, and if the store is willing to give it up. I guess I was lucky enough to ask for it at the right time while they were changing collections as well so I did end up getting it ☺️ apart from that unique experience I do have friends overseas whom I exploit to bring back exclusive products to their country 😁
@@northen20 that's correct, petite h is only available in physical stores in Paris and as you mentioned for limited time only at certain flagships. I visited the one in NYC a couple of years ago. and it was a lot of fun..if I remember correctly they put up sheets of paper on the walls of the store and you got to draw and use petite h-inspired stamps on them. Oh really? I usually have everything transferred by my SA whether it's from domestic or international store. It's funny how it's so different in Australia..in the US you don't have to pay a deposit for anything unless it's a custom order or if the item gets directly sent to your home. Rumor has it, that it's also difficult to find rodeos in Australia?! If I can't get something through my SA, I don't buy it 😅

I'm the same, if my SA can't get it I usually give up. But I'm quite persistent at getting what I want, so I usually keep nagging about it, which is also a way to let your SA know that you're serious about the purchase, and maybe they might go out of their way to source it for you ;P
Ahh Rodeos, I personally didn't find it hard to get at all. One was through my SA which I asked for, it took an insane amount of convincing (purchases) before they offered me the so black, but I managed to score another one without any purchase history at another store in Melbourne. I guess it depends who you talk to and whether or not it affects their sales that day. As far as I know, they do try to allocate their sales towards seasonal products such as Hats, shoes and RTW. Leather goods sell themselves so they would rather reserve those for 'good clients' as my SA would say XD

I think the Carnets d'Equateur is more of a classic, timeless pattern with a punch of wild Hermès fun. The Passifolia is lovely but won't pair with other designs as much, and doesn't read as Hermès whatsoever, if that's important to u.
