Actually in the K-Pop industry, most groups or idols just sing whatever their company/label puts out. That’s one of the reason BTS had such a hard time crossing over into mainstream in the US, they thought BTS was just another manufactured group. However, there are a few artists that have managed to keep their hands on their own music like Big Bang and BTS.
@@Glitch2 You are going to go insane when you reach the rapline stuff. I promise you that. Omg, and then when you get into the their solo mixtapes too? ENJOY THIS JOURNEY!
of course there are some kpop groups that don’t write or produce their own music. BTS is known for how much freedom they’re given because the kpop industry is known as “manufactured.” They’re allowed to date, produce and write their own music, are involved in the choreo, and that’s why they became an anomaly in kpop. I’m not saying that other groups didn’t write/produce their own music before BTS but BTS is known for the artistic freedom they are given by their company. And now, a lot mote kpop groups are allowed to be inside the production process for their music. Also I recommend you reacting to On Kinetic Manifesto and Black Swan Official MV
I think kpop is similar to Western pop in terms of having a variety of situations where some contribute a lot like Seventeen, Ziro and BTS, contribute a bit and contribute nothing (perhaps they're not given the option). Bighit actively encourage their artists to get involved but they still have producers that write the music, melodies and lyrics when it needs it. It's overall more collaborative most of the time. The rap line always writes their own parts as a rule that's never broken.
Thanks for reacting to BTS. I hope you can understand why their fans are so protective of them. One of the reasons that makes BTS different is because they were the only group that popped up from a small company and that's not easy especially Korea produced thousands of group each year around the era BTS was born. In Korea, most successful groups are from "the big 3", meaning they are usually from the three big companies YG, SM, and JYP. Big Bang and Blackpink are from YG, stray kids are from JYP, and EXO are from SM. So, before Blackpink debuted, YG had promoted the members and had teasers. YG made people curious about the new girl group. However, BTS was the opposite, they were the first group from their company... Their company was so small back then, nobody cared about them till they won their first award... That's why you see a lot of their fans are so protective of them, it's because they literally climbed up from the very bottom. THEY WERE NOBODY THAT NO ONE THOUGHT WOULD MAKE IT.
I'm glad they made it, seeing people become successful is amazing especially when they had so much hate. They have amazing songs and are very talented artists
I usually think "you are tasteless ratatouille" is like, the only thing why that rat is important is cuz he got taste so can cook, a rat without that taste is just another rat. So suga is like "u are an ordinary rat"
Mic Drop is not super hardcore 😂 It’s somewhere in the middle I would say 😉 “Baby watch your mouth” guy is RM. He’s one of three rappers in BTS. He’s got his two solo mixtapes and he also collaborated, among others, with Krizz Kaliko, Warren G, Wale, Fall Out Boy, Juice WRLD and Lil Nas X. Oh, and he wrote OST to Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie. Bts member Suga aka Agust D also has a solo song "Daechwita" that's really hard you should check it out.. And you should also try to watch their song "On Kinetic Manifesto Film"
BTS for each song that is created is the result of the members themselves and then assisted by the company for concepts and mv. BTS members even become producers of their songs. This is what makes them more than idols. you can see they have a mixtape all done by themselves. and because their outrageous lyrics make them less liked, their concept is different from other idols.
Something to understand about modern songwriting is that it is a multi-layered collaborative process and part of it is due to technology. There are different types of producing credits in one song alone. In BTS songs, sometimes they are responsible for the beat, sometimes the melody and top line, sometimes the lyrics. Producers also pitch songs to their company, because after all, you are on the lookout for hit songs. Sometimes a song comes to them complete, like Dynamite, that they loved and didn’t edit much. I don’t think there are ghostwriters in Kpop in that people pretend to compose songs when they didn’t?
I would say bts has done a lot of “darker” concepts. It’s just that you guys have reacted to there (my personal opinion) top5 most pop influenced songs
Jimmy Chandrawinata I meant that the pop songs they have reacted to are in most pop influenced songs bts has done lol😂 Like for example 1. DNA 2. DYNAMITE 3. Boy with luv 4. Idol (not saying this is all pop, but it does have a poppy (not sure if that’s a word) beat to it 5. Maybe butterfly Sorry I couldn’t pick a good good 5 because I’m still a baby army so...?🤷♀️
@@ursokind some dark concepts video/ musically by BTS (non specific order) are: 1. Fake love 2. Black swan (b-side track) 3. Danger 4. No more dream 5. Singularity (although it's only one member singing)
lol you guys are funny-Ratatouille is a French dish that’s why he’s calling the haters tasteless like the food, not like the character. I think you’re gonna like “Fake Love”, “ON Kinetic Manifesto Film”, “Not Today”, “Fire”, “Interlude:Shadow”, “Daechwita”, “Intro:Persona” MV’s they go hard, and “Outro:Tear” and “Dionysus” live performances. All bangers! As for “ghost writer” BTS all members have writing or producing credits on all the albums, they do have in-house writers producers too they collab with and they’re all listed on album credits too, BTS have worked with outside writer and producers too and everyone is given credit on albums. BTS have allot of creative freedom compared to other KPop artists/groups. I don’t know about all other KPop groups writing their own music I know some that do and some that don’t. For example BlackPink do not write/produce their own songs, but I wish their label would let them try because it would be great to see what they’re capable of musically as they have talent.
Yah sis, we all know that blackpink is just being used by their company and wasn't really given opportunity to be the full artists like they should be. Used to be a blink but not supporting them anymore; its a pain to see them being *sexualized* in the western country.
The only other prominent Kpop artists that do a lot of music and performance by themselves are Stray Kids, GIdle, Pentagon, SEVENTEEN, Big Bang, IU, Jonghyun (RIP), AKMU, KARD (nowadays), Winner, IKon, BlockB (Zico), and maybe some others that I forgot
No other group has the music diversity as BTS. So please don’t judge by the two videos seen prior to mic drop. Name another group that can do best they can and do it well.
Thank you for watching! Great reaction ❤️ Watch the song they won with at the VMAs, "On Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima"! Mic Drop is from 2017, On Kinetic Manifesto is from 2020. Please please please watch it!
As far as I know, the have been accused of lipsyncing, their songs were copied, etc. They had a humble beginning before getting to the top. But they deserve it so much.
Some are great performer's, some create great content while some are good at both and all of that is a part of being an artist so I guess it's okay to have more people involved in the making as long as they get the credit they deserve. Music is art n there's place for everyone here. Many kpop groups contribute to the whole making process n some companies even train their artists in the creation process to make them better performer's. Loved the reaction, this was a diss track for their haters in general but the more you check their songs you'll realize they're very diverse. You name the genre, they have a song for it that's why many say BTS is the genre 🤭 I'm waiting for you to check the rapline songs like Cyphers, ddaeng, Daechwita, Joke, airplane pt 1, AgustD. I'm sure you'll love it!
Can't wait to react to more by them hopefully getting to some this weekend. Also, we love the diversity of these guys they haven't disappointed in the three we've seen
Not Today - complete power song On: kinetic manifesto - is fire Black swan - artistic and interesting mix of music styles Interlude: shadow - hits hard, serious beat and great style but lyrics so interesting BTS does literally every genre, if all you have really seen is dynamite and this you have a lot you could explore... and btw, yes they have had controversial songs because they have done music on societal issues, depression, mental health, a lot of somewhat taboo topics in Korea. They were told for years they would never make it - this song was a throw back to their haters from all that. There are a TON of BTS anti fans, they have had to cancel concerts for death threats before.
Now you should watch them live performing in MAMA 2017 performing Mic Drop with 3 other songs straight like a mini concert. They won Artist of the Year after their grueling performance.
So happy you like this. I think you'll love BTS's rapline's songs too. They wrote them and me not-rap-lover person adores it. My fav is Outro: Tear but UGH! and Cypher pt.4 is amazing too. And I want more Stray Kids. They'll make a comeback but before that you should react Easy. Song is amazing and songs name is Easy but dance choreography is damn hard :D
I think you will enjoy BTS' “ON” Kinetic Manifesto a lot :) Also Black Swan, Daechwita and Not Today...and...oh...many more LOL. I think your wife knows better than some of us new armys :)
OMG sending you love I appreciate that you guys react to this 😊. I hope you won't be disappointe when you react to their other songs that people in the comments mentioned it💜
Oh my god I've been waiting for you guys to check out some of their other songs! Mic Drop is one of my favourites. If you liked this react to : BTS - ON: KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM (that version specifically) BTS - Black Swan BTS - Fake Love BTS - Airplane pt. 2 (Comeback Stage)
Honestly we just try and make yall smile and feel like family, it's also a good thing yall like our videos because A LOT of people get mad that we aren't overly happy
I can't wait you guys to react to our badass rapline ... Cyphers 1-4 , UGH !!!, Outro: Tear, AGUST D , Daechwita , Ddaeng ... And all their Live Performances .. you're gonna love it! 👍
I think the short UA-cam documentary BTS contribution to music might answer some of your questions about how their music gets written and produced. Also, Who is BTS an introduction to the 7 members of Bangtan. (Which is a little longer, but a crowd favorite except for those like, 10 people who really hate it) talks a bit about their composing and production as well as a short background on each member. There is also a video BTS hardships that explains about how BTS has had people against them from the beginning, since you were asking if they were controversial. That will explain all of that.
I think most Kpop groups sing whatever their labels tell them to, The few exceptions are groups like BTS and Stray Kids (who I absolutely love). Stray Kids is coming back with a Repackaged Album Monday September 14!!!
I don't know about the rest of K-pop. BTS write some of their own lyrics, and collaborate with other writers for some other lyrics, and in the case of a very few songs, like Dynamite, the lyrics are written by somebody else. Every track has transparent attributions, so you can always find out the lyrics writers, the producers, and the composers.
@@Glitch2 because of the philosophy of the founder of BigHit, BTS has been doing things differently. The founder had some fresh ideas when he was working for one of the Big Three agencies in Korea, and they said fine, great ideas, you want to do them, leave. So he did, and look what happened, LOL. It's been a 7-year-and-more struggle. Because I think he founded the agency about 3 years before the BTS debut, I'm not too sure with the dates, but I think that's about right. And they were close to bankruptcy. And they were doing subcontracting for Big Three agencies for a little while. If you can find one of the good background stories about the group, it will help you out. xCeleste has some good explanation and background videos. Just realized as I was typing this out, that probably the agency name "BigHit" is the founder's slapback at the "Big Three" agencies. If you go on a BTS journey, your cynicism and any sense of disconnect will fade away, to be replaced by feeling embraced by the best that humanity can make. Some of the burden that life has added to weigh your spirits down will be lifted. I am not kidding. LOL. The lovely wife, whose presence in your reactions I miss, probably knows that instinctively. And has been urging you forward for a bit, I will guess. My own story is I almost died a few years ago from a reaction to a bad weather event plus some disability that an antibiotic had laid on me. I've been fighting back from that, and I'm relearning to walk. I got stuck with my physical rehab, just lost in fear. 10 months ago, when I discovered BTS, things started to change. My courage is way more now than it was, and I am full of joy every single day. Depression and fear still happen, but I see them right away, and I have a certain resilience that was missing before, that lets me fight back. This is due to watching BTS and how they fight to make their art, and that they are able to actually do it, it ain't just theory. Bonahae 💜🐋💜
If you like hip-hop, I suggest reacting to some of the things done by the rapline. Outro: Tear is fire. Hip Hop Lover too. Ugh and Ddaeng are both masterpieces but I always recommend you also watch the explanation by a Korean done by DKDKTV for those two in order to fully understand/appreciate the wordplay. Suga/AgustD also has some amazing solo work such as Daechwita, Agust D, and The Last. RM has Joke and Do You, which are both fire as well. I'm not sure who told you that in kpop the performers write their own music. It's actually incredibly rare in kpop for the group to have any hand in the writing or production. That is one of the things that makes BTS unique, since they are very involved in both of those things. For the large majority of kpop groups, the company writers/producers make the music and they just give it to the group to perform.
BTS has some insane videos and songs. I really recommend checking more of them out. Fake Love and Black Swan come to mind for production. Dionysus live MMA 2019 and their choreography practices are amazing. Also Agust-D (SUGA from BTS) daechwita video...I’ll come up with more specific suggestions! But that’s off top of my head.
Hey, guys, looking forward to hearing you react to this. Have listened to a great deal of their music and would like to reassure you that they've dabbled in almost as many musical genres as there are musical genres. Seriously, they've done straight rap, mixed rap and pop, done R and B, disco, ballads, etc. Also, treat yourselves to some of their live shows, or one of their MMA appearances in 2019/2018 where they put on something I could comfortably call a "spectacular." In the meantime, I'm pretty sure that Mic Drop will make your jaws drop.
This is still fairly poppy for them, but it’s got more rap. If you want to see a diff side to BTS, I’d recommend: for Hip-Hop: - Outro: Tear - Silver Spoon/Baepsae - N.O. - Cyphers 1-4 - Intro: Persona - Interlude: Shadow - No More Dream for Latin-Pop: - Lie - Filter - Airplane Part 2 - House of Cards for Ballads: - The Truth Untold - Epiphany - Awake - We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal - Let Me Know - Serendipity for R&B: - Singularity - Just One Day - Like - Stigma for Rock-pop: - Fake Love - Danger - Dope - Spring Day - Not Today - Fire finally, my fav Pop: - I Need U - Black Swan - ON - Blood, Sweat, and Tears - Mikrokosmos - Go Go Hope this was helpful! Thanks for reacting to BTS. They have a very wide discography.
i like mic drop alot but if you want to listen to their hiphop/rap tracks i prefer the rapline tracks like TEAR, UGH, HER, CYPHER 3 and 4, persona, shadow, ....etc and ofcourse their free mixtapes here some tracks of of them: RM: joke, do you, moonchild suga aka agustd: agustd, daechwita jhope: airplane, baseline, daydream
They have a lot of haters, people who do not want them to succeed, who wanted to take them down... even amongst their peers. The Rapline (RM and Suga) during an event and BTS were openly criticised. So this song was addressed to the haters/ their peers.
A lot of BTS music video don’t use the green screen - Fire, Fake Love, Run, Not today, etc. I thought most of Kpop groups sings what the music company give them. BTS is one group who write, co-write, produce, co-produce their own music in every album. “Mic Drop” is BTS’ response to the haters. As much as big popularity they have now, they also got ton of haters even way back in the beginning years since they came from small company so other big companies’ fandoms threw hate at them because they couldn’t believe a group from small company could be talented, performing well and selling well. You should look into their history to understand more of this Kpop industry and fandoms. A recommend you to react to “This is BTS” by xCeleste. Thanks for your reaction to this song!
If you are looking for detail I suggest you check out the MV for ON, and also check out Agustd Daechwita, he is also a member of BTS' rapline. And for good measure check out BTS Not Today MV, that's my go to hype song. Hope you get to watch these soon.
Nice... it's good see variation from different groups in your reaction... looking fwd : - Stray Kids : Hellevator - BTS : Blood Sweat and Tears - Stray Kids : Miroh - Treasure : Boy
Most of their MVs have high production value...Fake Love, Not today, On kinetic manifesto (one shot), and Blood sweat and tears, are just a few but there are also the MMA”s and MAMA’s award performances, specifically 2019. They spare nothing in production quality down to minute detail so I think you would appreciate these and many others tbh.
*we always do love who know how to say *THANK YOU* Because our boys being THE MOST POPULAR BOY BAND IN THE WORLD they still keeping their feet in the Ground, they are HUMBLE :) *THANK YOU too for this great reactions we hoping moreeee* *ON* *NOT TODAY* *DIONYSUS( Live performance) *FIRE* *DOPE* *DNA* And more... I hope you will try to watch their performance in shows like *BTS MMA 2018 Performance, BTS MMA 2019 performance, MAMA 2018, MAMA 2019* try to watch and you will see how BTS is :)*
RM and Suga solo work is a bit more hard-core but they still bring it in BTS with tracks like Black Swan, UGH and Interlude:shadow. They literally have something for everyone. Literally! Also worth a dive into their old stuff.
Please watch “On kinetic manifesto”. For me BTS is different to other Kpop group.. Before I already knew about kpop but I’m not a fan of it,.until I discovered BTS.They always offer something new and the lyrics to their songs will hit you different. Some of their MV has a storyline so you can’t really understand if you don’t watch at the beginning.. And try BTS live performances they are more good in live performance.
if you want rock BTS then checkout 'Not Today' and 'Fake Love' by them. for their darker and mysterious side checkout 'Black Swan' and 'Blood Sweat and Tears' and 'ON official MV'. Oh God there are so many songs that i want you to checkout but at the same time i don't wanna make it hard for you :)) loved the reaction *you nice keep going*
You "are they controversial?" me "depends on the country" In South Korea they are for a few reasons, Where as in the USA, UK and many other countries not so much. I believe this is mainly because we don't live in the same sort of society. BTS have been through a lot of hate such as getting death threats, being accused of plagiarism and many more. To learn more about BTS as a group you should watch 'BTS from nobodies to legends 2019' and 'THIS IS BTS Introduction to BTS [Part 1]' both by Xceleste . Their music is very diverse which you have probably realised by now here are a few video suggestions: 'Black Swan', ' "On" Kinetic Manifesto film', 'Blood, sweat and tears', 'DNA' , 'Fake Love' and 'Run' You should also check out their live performances these guy are amazing they actually sing and dance live, a couple of them are Melon Music Awards 2019 and Melon Music Awards 2018. Sorry i wrote such a long comment!
A some other kpop groups were putting BTS down. Hating on them, saying they weren't worthy of their success. Accused them of lip syncing, using autotune , etc. Jealousy‼️ SAD... They were hated because they weren't SUPPOSE to do so well coming from a very small company.
Cypher 1, 2, 3 and 4 or the live Cypher Medley...live performances from these guys are LIT! Also Ddaeng from the rapline, I suggest you check out the Ddaeng explanation with it too ( the explanation will blow your mind )
Please react to bts more.. I bet u guys try : 1. Dope MV 2. Daechwita MV (1 of bts' member"suga") 3. Fire MV 4. Note today MV 5.BTs Rap line lyric video ("UGH", Cypers series 1-4) Love your reactions 😍
Fortunately they have no ghost writers they write their own lyrics all of them BTS is lucky they have two geniuses in writing lyrics and that's their leader RM and Suga
This song was long before the VMA's. They've had lots of haters and problems and from a small company. I saw some details on the comments. So they're saying to the haters to look at them now because they had been winning awards. Now they're out of orbit and keeping on gging. Hopefully Grammy's next
BTS writes & produces MOST of their music but they have recently used others to help write music. BTS are one the reasons now days, other groups get to write and produce some of their music. People seem to have short memories, how things were, just a few short years ago. The BIG 3, The Agencies that ran the entertainment industry in South Korea controlled every aspect of an Idols lives. Idols sign a contract with the agency. The Agency handles all aspects of Idols lives. BTS broke that mold because even before they debut they were writing & creating. BTS were always overly talented but one of the reasons BTS got to write & produce was because BIG HIT was on the verge of bankruptcy. BTS were given more freedom than others who came from a factory type environment. With BTS' success other companies let go of the reigns of their clients. Now, BTS, Jackson Wang, write & produce.
Yes... there were many haters. This is one of their song for their haters . Even when they win their first award haters always there to question their winning. React to 'who is bts, seven members ' and bts legend 2013 - 2019. Trust me, you understand them more
So you understand this song was dedicated to all their haters. If you noticed the people in the black hoodies and they’re performing in an interrogation room and jail house it represents their oppressors when they were coming up. They came from nothing and they’re number 1 on the billboard charts and number 1 worldwide. This group is thee only Korean group to sell out Webley Stadium in 90 minutes. And yes they do write their own material. This group is transcending and bridging generational gaps their fan base ranges from little kids to adults over 60. They’ve gone way above and beyond of any *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys type band.
And I remember the moment when you were reacting to blackpink/k-pop for the first time and saying something like no, no BTS.....LOL I think mic drop is really a good answer to all of us(yes, including me) who didn't acknowledge them as they should have been for a long time.
Ghostwriters are everywhere in Kpop Dreamcatcher's songs are all produced by Leez and Ollounder, except Dear which is written by Jiu Blackpink has never wrote any song by themselves, Teddy Park is their in house producer who produced many songs for YG (including Big Bang). EXO's stuffs are written by many people, like The Stereotypes, LDN Noise, Teddy Riley etc What makes Kpop fascinating for us, is the completeness of the production, including: music, video, choreography, public speaking, showmanship etc., as a result of the collaboration between all of these people behind the scenes
If production is a thing you interest in, i recommend Daechwita from Agust D. He is one of BTS rapline. . "Are they controversial?" Oh you dont know how much hate they got just because they grew from a small company. Haters even made petition for their disbandment and revoke their achievement to the SK president! Let alone hates they got from western stan just because they're asian and speaking korean.
I think you should watch first “Nobodies to Legends” or “This is BTS”, then you will know that the “haters” they mention in many of their songs are those who discredited them when they were starting. They went thru difficult times but they persisted and success came one after the other.
When they debuted in 2013 they got so much flack so this is their satiric comeback to their detractors... watch This is BTS 7 members ... and the follow up This is BTS The Beginning Part 1 by X-Celeste ... also their dance practices before the music videos.. as entertaining and invigorating... enjoy‼️
They are referring to "Fan signs". You know...The I Love you BTS, or I love Jimin or Jungkook, or whichever member is the Fan favorite. The signs are always prominent at their concerts.
If your comfortable with reacting to only a few members... maybe Ugh - BTS ?? And if you don’t understand some of the lyrics the explained by a korean video on it
@glitch U have to rewatch this❣ they have always a deep meaningin every songwith amazing and crazy lyrics💚💚u guys didnt pay attention from beginning to the lyrics💚they are so sick❣💙read the lyrics this song for their haters😎☺um and wht uve beein asking, they choose their clothes themselves🙃Groups like Big bang,BPare good,BUT❣BTS is another level💚🤗theyre unique

It’s just that you guys have reacted to there (my personal opinion) top5 most pop influenced songs
would love to know the top 5 darker concepts by BTS. I love dark concept.
Jimmy Chandrawinata I meant that the pop songs they have reacted to are in most pop influenced songs bts has done lol😂
Like for example
1. DNA
2. DYNAMITE
3. Boy with luv
4. Idol (not saying this is all pop, but it does have a poppy (not sure if that’s a word) beat to it
5. Maybe butterfly
Sorry I couldn’t pick a good good 5 because I’m still a baby army so...?🤷♀️
@@ursokind some dark concepts video/ musically by BTS (non specific order) are:
1. Fake love
2. Black swan (b-side track)
3. Danger
4. No more dream
5. Singularity (although it's only one member singing)
what can they do, their top 5 songs are the one made most popular by ARMY
Stanley Maximillian ? Sorry if I offended you somehow, I just mean that they like more rap style songs but they reacted to the pop ones
lol you guys are funny-Ratatouille is a French dish that’s why he’s calling the haters tasteless like the food, not like the character.
Lol we know we were just being dumb. Also, I'm going to screenshot this so we can remember them when we record this weekend
From Dyonisus their is no offial mv. Their life performances and practices are great.
I only like BTS from Korea.
I normally listen to Nightwish
@@pohchit that Ice Cream song.... meh.......
No other group has the music diversity as BTS. So please don’t judge by the two videos seen prior to mic drop. Name another group that can do best they can and do it well.
The boys had a tough start!
Thank you for watching! Great reaction ❤️
Watch the song they won with at the VMAs, "On Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima"! Mic Drop is from 2017, On Kinetic Manifesto is from 2020. Please please please watch it!
Thank you for taking the time to react to BTS. Please react to more of their live performances as well as their MV's.
Try "shadow", "ugh", "tear", "joke" "on kinetic manifesto film", "not today".
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏 there are so many best song from BTS
Can't wait to get to them, especially if they're like this
Welcome to bts world~💜💜💜👍
& thanks your review~ 🌹💐📺💰
Can't wait for you to react to Cypher 1,2,3 and 4. Btw thank you for your reaction.
I like your reaction, thank you for your support through this video. -army-
As far as I know, the have been accused of lipsyncing, their songs were copied, etc.
You name the genre, they have a song for it that's why many say BTS is the genre 🤭
I'm waiting for you to check the rapline songs like Cyphers, ddaeng, Daechwita, Joke, airplane pt 1, AgustD. I'm sure you'll love it!
Can't wait to react to more by them hopefully getting to some this weekend. Also, we love the diversity of these guys they haven't disappointed in the three we've seen
Not Today - complete power song
On: kinetic manifesto - is fire
Black swan - artistic and interesting mix of music styles
Interlude: shadow - hits hard, serious beat and great style but lyrics so interesting
BTS does literally every genre, if all you have really seen is dynamite and this you have a lot you could explore... and btw, yes they have had controversial songs because they have done music on societal issues, depression, mental health, a lot of somewhat taboo topics in Korea.
Funny enough I'm editing our reaction to Easy right now. Also, we'll be looking into some of those this weekend 😀
Glitch OH YES!!!!! waiting for Easy right now🤲🏽
Lmao you won't have to wait long, and this is one of the reasons we love yall, cause you make our day
Glitch one of the reasons why we love is that we won’t wait too long
Lmao for you? I could have the video done tonight! 😂
Their dance practice of mic drop is also lit and the rapline like shadow, Cyphers 1to 4 and many more😊😊
I think you will enjoy BTS' “ON” Kinetic Manifesto a lot :) Also Black Swan, Daechwita and Not Today...and...oh...many more LOL. I think your wife knows better than some of us new armys :)
She's got a list for us and we'll be reacting to it soon, but we still love yalls requests and comments
Yes. What BTS wants, BTS gets. Anyways, great reaction👍🏻
OMG sending you love I appreciate that you guys react to this 😊. I hope you won't be disappointe when you react to their other songs that people in the comments mentioned it💜
Oh my god I've been waiting for you guys to check out some of their other songs! Mic Drop is one of my favourites. If you liked this react to :
BTS - ON: KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM (that version specifically)
BTS - Black Swan
BTS - Fake Love
BTS - Airplane pt. 2 (Comeback Stage)
Hopefully we didn't disappoint lol also those are coming up pretty quickly on the list 😀
@@Glitch2 Not at all. Your reactions are honest and its refreshing and appreciated. Can't wait for more! You won't be disappointed trust me.
Honestly we just try and make yall smile and feel like family, it's also a good thing yall like our videos because A LOT of people get mad that we aren't overly happy
Subscribed to see the bts journey. Excited for you guys 😋
This song is their ultimate diss rap/song dedicated with love for their haters.
Yesss. Now listen to their cyphers part 1-4, Come Back Home and Ugh :)
Can't wait to hear what else they have since alot of peoppe say they have a song for every genre
See thats what i was wondering since in America they try to hide who wrote the song if the actual artists didn't. Thank you
@@Glitch2 because of the philosophy of the founder of BigHit, BTS has been doing things differently.
Blood sweat and tears too. And their kinetic manifesto On film.
BrendaDylan💋 AGREED 🙌🏻
Time to watch 'Black swan'.
Definitely check out BTS'S rapline. Cypher 1-4, Daeng, and Ugh. Agust D" Agust D" Shadow Interlude and Daechitwa, RM Joke and Persona.
If you want to see a diff side to BTS, I’d recommend:
for Hip-Hop:
- Outro: Tear
- Silver Spoon/Baepsae
- N.O.
- Cyphers 1-4
- Intro: Persona
- Interlude: Shadow
- No More Dream
for Latin-Pop:
- Lie
- Filter
- Airplane Part 2
- House of Cards
for Ballads:
- The Truth Untold
- Epiphany
- Awake
- We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal
- Let Me Know
- Serendipity
for R&B:
- Singularity
- Just One Day
- Like
- Stigma
for Rock-pop:
- Fake Love
- Danger
- Dope
- Spring Day
- Not Today
- Fire
finally, my fav Pop:
- I Need U
- Black Swan
- ON
- Blood, Sweat, and Tears
- Mikrokosmos
- Go Go
Hope this was helpful! Thanks for reacting to BTS. They have a very wide discography.
If you want to watch more you can watch their live performance
i like mic drop alot but if you want to listen to their hiphop/rap tracks i prefer the rapline tracks like TEAR, UGH, HER, CYPHER 3 and 4, persona, shadow, ....etc
and ofcourse their free mixtapes here some tracks of of them:
RM: joke, do you, moonchild
suga aka agustd: agustd, daechwita
jhope: airplane, baseline, daydream
Guys now you know that BTS is so kind , they have a song for theyir haters too😂😌😌😌
They have a lot of haters, people who do not want them to succeed, who wanted to take them down... even amongst their peers.
The Rapline (RM and Suga) during an event and BTS were openly criticised. So this song was addressed to the haters/ their peers.
This song is for the heaters, because all the haters said they wouldn't make it.
We'll add these to the list so hopefully we can get to them soon as well
please react to "This Is BTS Introduction to BTS" by Xceleste :)
Their practice video is so cool too !!! Please watch it !!!
Nice... it's good see variation from different groups in your reaction... looking fwd :
- Stray Kids : Hellevator
- BTS : Blood Sweat and Tears
- Stray Kids : Miroh
- Treasure : Boy
What's really funny is during filming, RM couldn't get the back door of the ambulance open:))
We gotta watch one of these videos where we see the behind the scenes stuff eventually so we'll know about this type of stuff lol
*we always do love who know how to say *THANK YOU* Because our boys being THE MOST POPULAR BOY BAND IN THE WORLD they still keeping their feet in the Ground, they are HUMBLE :) *THANK YOU too for this great reactions we hoping moreeee*
*ON*
*NOT TODAY*
*DIONYSUS( Live performance)
*FIRE*
*DOPE*
*DNA*
And more...
You should definitely check out shadow(music video) and joke (lyrics video). Good reaction
You must watch BTS' from Nobodies to Legends and you'll understand MIC Drop very well😉
Proud ARMY here💜
Ratatouille is a French vegetable stew. That mouse was named after the stew.
Oh God there are so many songs that i want you to checkout but at the same time i don't wanna make it hard for you :))
loved the reaction
*you nice keep going*
Sidra Tehreem I agree with all these 💜🙌🏻
You "are they controversial?" me "depends on the country" In South Korea they are for a few reasons, Where as in the USA, UK and many other countries not so much.
Their music is very diverse which you have probably realised by now here are a few video suggestions:
'Black Swan', ' "On" Kinetic Manifesto film', 'Blood, sweat and tears', 'DNA' , 'Fake Love' and 'Run'
You should also check out their live performances these guy are amazing they actually sing and dance live, a couple of them are Melon Music Awards 2019 and Melon Music Awards 2018.
Bts_Black swan and On 👍👍👌👌❤❤❤❤
Some stray kids: double knot, victory song , easy ,hellevator
Bts: all their songs😆 but if you like rap the rapline songs are amaaazing
Please react to bts more..
I bet u guys try :
1. Dope MV
2. Daechwita MV (1 of bts' member"suga")
3. Fire MV
4. Note today MV
5.BTs Rap line lyric video ("UGH", Cypers series 1-4)
Love your reactions 😍
You should watch MIC DROP dance practice, its remix and the choreography is dope.
I think yall would dig Not Today by bts. Its one of my faves by them.
Fortunately they have no ghost writers they write their own lyrics all of them BTS is lucky they have two geniuses in writing lyrics and that's their leader RM and Suga
finally you guys BTS~♡♡♡♡♡
This song was long before the VMA's. They've had lots of haters and problems and from a small company. I saw some details on the comments. So they're saying to the haters to look at them now because they had been winning awards. Now they're out of orbit and keeping on gging. Hopefully Grammy's next
Fun Fact: Mic Drop was inspired by Obama's speech in 2016 at the White House correspondents dinner
That's really interesting, love fun facts!
Trust me, you understand them more
You should react to their Cyphers 1-4 colour coded lyrics, Ddaeng and Ugh. All diss tracks
If you like their ‘hard-core’ side you should reaaly check *On Kinetic manifesto film* you’ll love it!
You should guys react to Daechwita of August-D (Suga of BTS), and to ON of BTS
Ghostwriters are everywhere in Kpop
Dreamcatcher's songs are all produced by Leez and Ollounder, except Dear which is written by Jiu
Blackpink has never wrote any song by themselves, Teddy Park is their in house producer who produced many songs for YG (including Big Bang).
EXO's stuffs are written by many people, like The Stereotypes, LDN Noise, Teddy Riley etc
What makes Kpop fascinating for us, is the completeness of the production, including: music, video, choreography, public speaking, showmanship etc., as a result of the collaboration between all of these people behind the scenes
The comments are telling you to watch "On Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima", please watch it, you won't be sorry!
Got it on the list so we can make sure we get to it soon :)
I think you should watch first “Nobodies to Legends” or “This is BTS”, then you will know that the “haters” they mention in many of their songs are those who discredited them when they were starting. They went thru difficult times but they persisted and success came one after the other.
When they debuted in 2013 they got so
much flack so this is their satiric comeback to their detractors... watch This is BTS 7 members ... and the follow up This is BTS The Beginning Part 1 by X-Celeste ... also their dance practices before the music videos.. as entertaining and invigorating... enjoy‼️
They are referring to "Fan signs". You know...The I Love you BTS, or I love Jimin or Jungkook, or whichever member is the Fan favorite. The signs are always prominent at their concerts.
Please react to THIS IS BTS INTRODUCTION ( Part 1) by xceleste , all your confusion and questions will be anawered💜
Yes! Biggest band in the world! 💜
Pls react to "ON - Kinetic manifesto film"
If your comfortable with reacting to only a few members... maybe
Ugh - BTS ?? And if you don’t understand some of the lyrics the explained by a korean video on it
