Wonders of Hungary - Bükfürdő

Bükfürdő is among the biggest bath facilities in Hungary, and the settlement itself is the fourth one on the top list of Hungarian tourist destinations, with 803 thousand overnight stays in 2015.
It has a similar story as the other top-hit Hajdúszoboszló: they were looking for oil in the fifties, but thermal water was found instead. It has been certified as medicinal water since 1965.
