Ur right, I noticed that the hydrogen bottles arent safe from a car exceeding 50 km/h. Or even worse, the recharge stations I saw, in another video, anyone can just break a bottle and kaboom. Anyways, as a moroccan, i've always been for thermal engines since its safer compared to H2. Fantasy indeed.
The car company is owned by a Moroccan and will be made in Morocco. The owner is Faouzi Annajah and you can see it at the description of the video. Pininfarina is just the designer of the body of the car but everything else like electronics and the hydrogen stuff is designed in Morocco.
I'm gonna make the point that, a pressurized chamber when punctured doesn't explode unless the place it's unloading doesn't disapate the pressure properly.

We, the western world are spending so much time and energy mining in Africa and South America to produce the necessary materials to make batteries to power cars.
This car is a beautiful example of the hydrogen technology that has existed for around the last forty years. Given that these vehicles are air breathers and that they actually clean the atmosphere as they are driven, electrically powered vehicles can't really be the right way to go. As for the safety of the fuel in the event of a collision, Toyota, which is so advanced and heavily involved in pushing this concept has conducted in-depth testing including firing high-velocity rounds into pressurized fuel tanks and all that happens is the fuel escapes harmlessly. We seem to heading in the wrong direction at break-neck speed.
The infrastructure needed to make widespread adoption of hydrogen vehicles viable is just impossible.
Bro we don't have unlimited water to mass produce this shit... We just need a way to reuse/recycle the batteries and problem solved.

@@1GekoKing No, it's just a fact. Hydrogen is literally made with electricity being used inefficiently to produce hydrogen. You need an absurd electrical infrastructure to meet the needs. It's one of the many reasons we're going for batteries instead.
If something cant make it after 40 years you should probably stop. Wasteful, inefficient and unnecessary. Do you think the materials for Hydrogen cars come from a tooth fairy? They are mined same as batteries. Batteries will be recycled and reused. One day they will recycle this car into an EV.
I bet this thing will go up, just like the Hindenburg. I love how the cells are in the back to ensure you explode anytime you're rear-ended. Great design.
Hydrogen needs a spark to ignite. So if the tanks are made of steel or stainless it would explode. Aluminum tanks may just vent the Hydrogen
Much of the problem with the Hindenburg was its outer shell was coated with highly flammable doping agents. They didn't have modern materials to weatherize it.
